Hi Maneetians,
Two days no Geet...... I was going through depression. So i started watching all the old episodes......Trying to understand when Maan fell for Geet. In Hoshiapur Maan definitely helped Geet but he lost all respect for her when she went back to her family..... He kept thinking about her......she disturbed him..... But he did not fall for her yet....... When he saw her in his Office he wanted to insult her because she went back to her family. He could never acept the fact that she went back to her house after they tried to kill her.... He insulted her wanted to get rid of her..... The first time Geet amused him was when she said that " I will not resign this job, You are insulting me so that I will quit the job myself and run away, So I will not quit... If you want remove me from this job"........ Their was a smile in Maan's face when she said that..... He said Kuch ho bi na ho tumme, akad hein...... When he said that let me see how your swabimaan is going to keep you in this place.... Geet snapped back smartly and angrily that so yout are not dismissing me right....... maan was dumbstruck..... It was a very smart answer....... For the first time some one has used his own words against him..... He saw that Geet was no more the frightened girl he met earlier.... There was something in her..... he knew she was beautiful...... But It was just not the beauty but her courage to answer him back that hit him...... The first day in office made Maan fall for him.... The way she handed the files before he asked..... The way she completed his sentence saying I won't transfer the calls for next one hour.... or the way she said its better you give a list of what calls to be transferred to avoid confusion all struck him.....
Inspite of all this however bold or strong Geet acted he could see the innocence in her eyes....He has seen her weak.....He could understand that she had to come to Delhi to lead her own life......He knew she was an innocent naive girl inside however bold she was outside..... So his heart went out for he..... Seeing that she was trying hard to make her life he went all the way and took up helping her and guiding her his own responsibility.....he wanted to teach her, protect her......at the same time her liveliness... her guts and not to mention her beauty...... made him fall head over heels in love with her.
If Geet did not meet Maan in Delhi he would have remembered her... wondered what would have happened o her.... worried if she was alive but pushed the thoughts out thinking she deserved it for her cowardice...... Her act of coming to Delhi united them.... When Maan asked Geet in conference room (night) if she remembered her family there was no mock or sarcasm he asked it sincerely because he knew that it was a big thing for a girl like her.
The best thing about this serial is that they made their realisation very slow... It was just not the beauty they fell for..... As of now Maan loves her..... protects her... wants her to be his..... But yes his ego is still big..... He wanted her to say that she loves him... He never told that he loves her..... he doesn't want to loose... when he knows Geet's past he will learn that you can still live your life with honour after loosing.
I love Maan... his character..... but we cannot forget that it was Geet who enhanced his goodness....If he never met Geet he would always have been the Kudoos angry Maan Khuranna.... geet brought out many emotions out of him..... she breath life into him........Their is no Maan without Geet
