The new track in Imagine TV's Do Hanso Ka Joda has Shubhangi Atre's (Preeti) character resembling Ameesha Patel's in Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai and the male lead is inspired by Abhishek Bachchan's character from Bunty Aur Babli. The story so far shows Suryakamal played by Shaleen Bhanot as dead after being thrown from the mountain by the new family introduced recently. Preeti, who is not aware of her husband's death, notices a lookalike of her husband, a thief, and takes him home as Suryakamal. The serial certainly seems to be obsessed with films. When launched, it had the look and feel of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi!
