hey guys, i was just thinking about what happened with jassi and purab in the past, how he broke off hte engagement, presumably because of that meenakshi chick.....and so it got me to wondering if they're ever gonna go back to that thread of the show and tell us howcome meenakshi's not in purab's life anymore, what happened to her, why did purab decide to leave jassi if he still loves her? isnt anyone else curious?

well that is pandora's box, so the writers/directors don't even want to go there. the fact is that the exit of purab at that point was very poorly dealt. if they justify purab's leaving.....they are effectively elevating his character and jassi/armaan's character will be affected negatively(not a good scenerio). on the other hand if they show purab to be unfair and someone who jilted jassi without a reason, it won't gel with purab's character, will create problems with the current storyline and still negatively affect jassi's character. since there is no good way out...they decided to forget about that part,

haha that conveniently works out for the producers i guess.......at this point though, to be completely honest, i would rather they completely switched gears and went to purab.....i'm sooo tired of all this armaan/jessica/jassi nonsense. it's irritating.

do you remember purab read jassi's diary and it said

I Love You Armaan Sir!!

he read that and he thought jassi didn't love her and so i think he left .

nope, he had read that diary before his second exit. i think he realised that armaan was playing around with jassi and that gave him hope that someday jassi will realise his love and turn to him(all he had to do was stick around and be accessible), however her reaction at the party, her lack of interest in getting in touch with him after the showdown and her devotion to armaan(she always found excuses for him), all inspite of gettin engaged to him made him realise that he was hoping too much from jassi.meenaxi added on to his doubts and insecurity, until he walked away.
