Take the case of Saloni Ki Shaadi. Just as the plot was progressing smoothly and the characters evolving well, the producers had to muck things up by introducing a murder committed by the protagonist, Saloni (played by Rajshree Thakur) prior to her wedding. This is followed by an equally dramatic arrest while she is honeymooning in Goa. Gosh! The ridiculous extent some producers can go to, to boost the impact of the serial. This one time, they sure have got their priorities all wrong.

Meanwhile, Rajashree Thakur may be television's most sought after gal and even has two men vying for her attention in Saath Phere. But when it comes to her personal life, she has already made up her mind. Rajashree has recently gotten engaged to a software engineer, someone she has known for a long time and is all set to marry early next year.

Wonder what will happen to her career. Will her pati turn out to be supportive or will he be like golfer Jyoti Randhawa who demanded that his wife quit her career and stay at home? Only time can answer this question.
