WARNING: This is a very looonnnnggg post, but I have created it as I feel there are many viewers who don't feel that Pratigya truly loves Krishna and they think her character is getting weaker. I disagree with this view and have stated my reasons below.
I don't blame Pratigya for the way things are now between her and Krishna. She had been stalked and harassed by Krishna therefore she married him to put a stop to her family from facing further humiliation. Yes she had later found out that it was Angad that kidnapped her and not Krishna but he has still done other things for her to hate him. He put a gun to her family members heads on several occasions, had people guarding her door to make sure no one leaves her house, broke off her engagement without even meeting her before hand. She had no idea who he was at that point! After marriage he has attempted marital rape on several occasions, he slapped her, tied her to her car seat like she was an animal etc. How can you give someone your heart when they treat you like this?
Therefore, it is perfectly understandable why she was terrified of him before marriage and post marriage also, So how can we expect her to reveal her feelings for him so easily now? She had always feared him deep inside, There were many times where she had tried to speak to Krishna, but he just grabbed her face! He even pushed her against the wall on their wedding night when she told him that he could never win her love!
However, Krishna has undeniably changed since being married to Pratigya. She is a strong character as she has always spoken up in the Thakur residence if she didn't agree with what they were proposing. Krishna had supported her through that. In her resistance to love him, she has unsubconsciously made him a better person. An example of this is that he manages his temper better, whereas before he had a very short fuse! His ideals of what a wife should be has also changed. Remember when he said that a woman should always bow down to her husband's feet? but he has done so much for her. If you check out the earlier episodes you can see the change.
In conclusion, I feel that both Pratigya and Krishna both have their faults in what the situation is right now. Krishna fell in LUB with Pratigya as soon as he seen her, but his tactics of how to win her over were wrong. He undoubtedly loves her more than we anticipated as viewers.
Pratigya on the other hand, got married to a stalker and complete stranger. Her aim was to seek revenge for her family's humiliation by never giving Krishna her heart. Though now after finding out that Krishna did not kidnap her, she has realised that she was punishing him for someone else's actions. This has also made her think about all the times when Krishna has always stood by her in front of his family. Pratigya realised her feelings for him when he had gone AWOL. Then when she had lost him, she realised the impact that Krishna has in her life and the continous LUB he shows her whether she chooses to accept it or not!. As they say "you never know what you've got until its gone!" and "absence makes the heart grow fonder".
So now they both need to work things out and Krishna needs to forgive Pratigya as she did not know he wasn't at fault and that it was her Dad that had stopped her from revealing the truth to him the instance she had found out. The only reason she revealed it in the court was because she knew it was the only way her Dad could be let free.
I know this is a really llooonnngggg post but I really LUB this show. I understand Pratigya's POV and I can never say that Krishna doesn't LUB her. Even if he is angry with her! Now lets just hope they make up and we can see a C of M very soon! 😉
