As reported earlier that Gurmeet Chaudhary fondly known as Maan of Star One's 'Geet', was down with Malaria but still continued to shoot for his episodes. But it seems that, Gurmeet is very overwhelmed with his fans.

Gurmeet overwhelmingly says, "I believe that my quick recovery from the illness is just because of their (fans) prayers. I didn't realize my popularity unless I heard this incident from a family, who watches my show regularly. When they learnt I was suffering from Malaria, they fasted and prayed for my quick recovery. I am really thankful to that family and to all my other fans for wishing well for me."
