Are you not bored of playing the same character for almost two and half years?
No, why will I get bored? I enjoy my on-screen character Ragini. I am enjoying my work as in these two and half years, the Bidaai cast and crew has become my second family. Jis din main yeh character play karne se bore ho jaungi, tab main yeh serial chhod dungi.

Did you expect you'd become a popular actress?
Not really but somewhere I used to love acting and dancing as I am very passionate about dancing. Whenever I used to go for a marriage ceremony people would complement me on my facial features and tell me to try acting. Then I came to Mumbai and during that time I saw many models wearing short dresses and I was stunned with this and said I could not be like that.

After I returned to my hometown (Lucknow), my father told everyone that I had come from Mumbai and that I wanted to be an actress. I was surprised that he was so supportive so I came back here and got my first acting break in Kayamath though the role was cameo but later on it got extended. Through Kayamath I got Bidaai and for this I am thankful to Rajan Sir and the channel.

Are you planning to participate in Nach Baliye 5?
Give me my baliye because I haven't yet found my baliye yet and once I do, I will definitely participate in the show!

What you would like to say about link-ups?
It's not easy for me to read my fake link ups as it hurts very badly. Which is this magazine, who hasn't spoken with me about this? Throughout the day, I keep thinking that why have they targeted me. So I have stopped reading magazines and tabloids to keep myself from getting upset.

When I was doing Jhalak it was my dance partner Deepak, after few months it became Nishaant Bhatt (co-contestant in Jhalak) and right now, it is Ayush Agarwal of Yeh Rishta and for me Ayush is a bachcha. I am wondering who they will link me with next and if my family comes to know, they will order me to come back.

Do you miss your family?
Oh yes I really miss them especially my father as I am very close to him. I still remember during my initial days, my Dad had the habit of seeing me first in the morning and so now when I am not around, he has put up big photos of mine everywhere and gives me immense emotional support

Producer Rajan Shahi is launching Kinshuk Mahajan and you in a film and so tell us about that.
Yes everything is in the planning process and it's going to be a romantic film as there won't be any bold scenes and so it will be on the lines of Dilwale Dulaniya and Maine Pyaar Kiya.

How do you handle stardom?
Yes, I am enjoying every moment as I remember I had gone to Bhilwara in Rajasthan to attend a family wedding. Believe me in that one day I had to change five hotels to avoid undue attention. Wherever I went, people would come to me to check if I was Ragini and some where trying to pull my sari, my hair and at the end I was touched by their love.

Tells us your friendship with Hina Khan aka Akshara..?
It's rocking as we have become close friends in the recent past and it's not that I have forgotten Sara and even she is my best friend and Hina is the new addition to our group. She is so passionate about dancing that we have to tell and force her to stop. We all shout, 'Ab bas karo!'

I am waiting for the movie with and kinny as lead. OMG a romantic one, i love both dilwale and maine pyar kiya. Hayeeeeeee kitne masth hoga agar ye dono aayengeee big screen pe😍
