Chapter 8:

Pratigya opened the door and found a handsome guy looking back at her.

P: kahiye

K: kya kahu? Kaha se shuru karu? Achcha aap apna naam bata dijiye. U ka hai na, ki Tunna aur Chandu to aapko bhabhi bula lenge per jab hum kahenge, 'I love you', to aage ek naam bhi to hona chaiye na, ki kise love you!

P: are kahiye na!

Krishna came back to reality! Before he could say what he had just said in his day-dream, Prof n Aadarsh came to the door and the trio kept looking at him wondering who he was, what did he want!

Krishna thought - Now here was a golden chance to know about the girl and her family, in one go.

Pratigya thought – such a handsome sight the 1st thing as I step out of the house, this is my lucky day.

Krishna : main Census Bureau se hu, family information…

Prof: are ha ha, aaiye, ander aaiye. Naina ji, zara chai to le aaiye

Pratigya stood watching him for a few seconds, while Krishna seriously took out the register and pen. Aadarsh was getting late and he also had to drop Pratigya for her interview, so he asked his father to let them go.

Krishna interrupted, while looking at Pratigya he said, 'aap apna naam bata dijiye, bus ho jayega'.

Aadarsh: hamara naam Aadarsh Saxena hai.

Krishna just scribbled; he didn't care much about 'his' name! 'The girl' stepped up, looked at him with her black eyes, Krishna noticed her eye lashes, her simple face, the short hair whom he wanted to be atleast shoulder length, the blue suit, black wrist watch and a black bag… He wondered where she was heading to!
When suddenly 'the girl' spoke up – hamara naam Pratigya hai

Time stopped, Krishna savored the moment when 'the girl' became Pratigya!
