Mods -

I am not against praises but I don't agree to this...

you have sticky thread for praises but close all the critic topic? why is this extreme discrimination?

if rule is not to discuss DT then it includes both Criticism as well as praises.. I deny this duality! *PERIOD*

PS: this is not a Bashing Mod Topic but a genuine concern of a DMG member about the attitude of Forum's Mod, Which is now confusing me big time!

PPS: members please refrain from bashing anyone here.

PPPS: Mods this topic certainly need you attention but not limited to TOPIC CLOSED. thanks

I agree Either both criticism and praising should be accepted or NEITHER. Accepting one over the other just makes it seem discriminatory😛

I'm going to C&P what I wrote in another thread

actually I was confused with this rule as well so I went and read the rules again and it mentions
"8. No thread on Dev Team working: No threads shall be opened criticizing the functioning of the Dev Team. If you have any issues contact the section Dev Team by PM and sort it out but do not create a scene by starting a thread here .No personal attack 'direct/indirect, abusive/sarcastic shall be tolerated. If we see anymore instigating posts or snide remarks towards moderators of DMG forum. You will receive a WL."

so..... you are NOT to allowed criticize but you can appreciate/applaud/ suck up ( what ever else you want to call it ) to the Mods

Quite a messed up rule if you ask me but then I don't think my opinion is of any concern to them

Well I think they close those type of topics because those kind of topics usually lead to fights in the forum as some of the members in the forums are sensitive and they think that a person is criticizing a jodi they don like cuz they are biased and this leads to incredible fighting which i think Mods are tryin to prevent and make this forum very peace-lovin and that is why the positve topic are sticky cuz tht way...the other topic if u wanna talk abt crticism, feel free too but there are some members who dont (a lot of members who dont like criticism in their jodi or whatever scenes) so Mods cant be bias to one person and have to think of majority.,...but ofcouse this is just my opinion so I apologize if I am misinterpretting it :)

I agree. As long as people are not bashing and are doing a healthy critique then along with the praiseworthy topics, the criticism ones should be allowed to. If not, then don't allow either one.
In my opinion though, critiques as well as the praises ought to go in the Suggestions and Comments forum as opposed to the show's forum. However that is only useful if the DT as well as the admins actually check that and take action.

I agree with you

i didn't get that either However i do want certain bashing mods topic ( read the ones cussing & using foul language for mods ) to be closed as they r just all other members of forum but if it's healthy critique than it should be opened so that way mods can know too where they r going wrong

i opened this topic based on my personal experience, n if they act proactively on the critic topic, considering it may lead to bashing then same can happen to praise too, bashers dont look for or refrain from those topic.. plz correct me if i m wrong?

I wud sort of agree with u Monar! But i feel criticising the Mods openly or anyone especially bashing and abusing someone and talking abt personal pms on the thread is not good!MY POV! No offence to aliamba and somewhere down the line i realized that aliamba is hurt but she should have dealt with this matter in a differnt way! I am not trying 2 blame anyone but i hope aliamba can understand this keeping aside all our differnces!

Its just that the forum is becoming a mess and i understand tht making the topic for appreciation a sticky topic and the ones criticizing someone not being made a sticky one has not went well with some people and i am with u on this! There shoudlnt be any differnce between the two till the time people donot cross their limits and insult anyone!
