August 16, 2010 Written Update

Bhavri brings Kabir into his decorated room and starts dancing. Chachi comes in with Jyoti. She talks about the duties and customs of this family, and Jyoti agrees to fulfill all her responsibilities. Chachi leaves and Bhavri interrupts Jyoti-Kabir by asking Kabir for nek. He agrees to give her a necklace worth 9lacs and she breaks into dance again. Asha runs her away. Kabir takes Asha and tells Jyoti that she is the one who first knew about them, and he treats her like his mother. Jyoti says that now Asha is like her mother too. Asha gives Jyoti a necklace that she is wearing. Bhavri interrupts saying that no one is talking about her. Both Asha and Bhavri leave.

Jyoti asks Kabir for nek, and he asks her to wait 5 minutes. He leaves the room, and meanwhile Jyoti takes that opportunity to call Padma. Padma is worried hearing Jyoti call so late at night, and Jyoti inquires about Rashmi. Padma tells her to stop worrying. They hang up and Jyoti thinks that she can't stop worrying until Rashmi is settled. Kabir comes back with the picture he drew of Jyoti. She is overjoyed seeing it. Kabir pulls a rope, and rose petals fall all over them. Both draw closer to each other.

The next morning Jyoti wakes up to see Kabir still asleep next to her. She tries getting up but is pulled back by him. He tells her that he wants to tell her something. She tells him that she knows that he's going to tell her how beautiful she looks. She tries getting up but is again held back by Kabir. Bhavri starts knocking on the door and Jyoti jumps to open it. Bhavri tells that she thinks she has come at a wrong time. Kabir groggily gets out of bed and tells her that he was just going to take a shower. Bhavri runs downstairs and Asha scolds her for bothering them so early. Asha gets tea ready for Kabir-Jyoti and goes to give it to them. Samer calls her into his room and asks where she's going. When he hears, he hits the cups and they fall smashing to the floor. He punishes Asha but cutting her with the pieces of cut glass. Kabir and Jyoti enter and take blessings from Samer. They go over to Asha and see the broken glass. She explains that she dropped it. She puts her hand over them to give blessings, and a drop of blood falls on Jyoti's hand. Jyoti is confused, looking at Asha. End.

thanx kruttika...now jyoti realising what an ideal family it is....kabir shud have warned her abt them tho..

Ok so now Jyoti the savior is here. Asha did mentioned before to Bhavri that one day some one will come to listen their complain. Good Moving Jyoti. I just want Sumair to be insulted in front of everyone. 😡

Well, the thing is that Kabir thinks Bapu-Sa, along with the rules of the haveli, has changed. Plus, none of the scenes showing hatred towards women was done in front of Kabir so he doesn't really know.


BTW, thanks for the update!

Aside from Sumer's usual torture of Asha, and chachi's abominable presence, a very pleasant episode. I particularly liked Bhavri entertaining Jyoti (why didn't anyone mention to Bhavri that Jyoti was a dancer? 😆) and being the one to break in on them.

Speaking of the suhag raat, what is it about wives that make them want to get up early, even though their hubbies want to sleep longer? 😆

But I disagree w/ Jyoti - Bhavri ain't anything like Sushma. In fact, she's like nobody in this serial to date. Plus she's senior to Jyoti, whereas Sushma is younger.

I guess the next few days will be Jyoti settling in, b4 she starts bothering again about Reshmi. Speaking of which, I thought it interesting that she now sleeps w/ Padma. Whenever Jyoti gets her in, the family will have their ready-made waris. 😆

I don't like a mature, practical, Jyothi expressing shyness and in the marriage rituals and showing coy attitude in suhag rath scene as if she is an innocent first timer . She was so troubled by her previous marriage with pankaj that she must behave in a more dignified way. I changed the channel as this whole thing looks silly.
