Undress me
Maan had come to a pause when he had come to complain about Geet to Daadima, but the object of his thought standing there resplendent in red, looking like a bride that had walked out of his dreams and in front of him. He had halted, but his heartbeat had skyrocketed. He had felt like he had a tunnel-vision, only seeing her, the rest had faded to background. He knew what he thought the minute he had seen her in Daadi's room. He was mesmerized by her beauty, captivated by her look and enthralled by the vision she created of a bride, his bride.
He wanted to take her in his arms but he felt his feet were cemented. He wanted to touch her to confirm that she was not a mirage, a trick his eyes played on him but there living breathing Geet, whom he had fallen desperately in love with.
Just when he had convinced himself that she was real and wanted to go to her, she had fled like the very demons were behind her. Left him, standing there to muse on what he wanted to do.
He went to the outhouse, searching for Geet, who looked a vision and still wanted to take in his fill. He went up the stairs, in anticipation of what he would see, her dressed in red, with jewelry has got its radiance from her beauty. Daadima's jewelry never looked so intriguing. The seemed to sparkle like her eyes. They seemed to wink at him with every breath she took, calling him to them. He reached the bedroom doors, he stood there at the threshold almost turning back for propriety demanded that he not enter her bedroom, but the vision beckoned, pulling him in. he moved in trance, enraptured and lost in her dream, with a dream to see his bride.
She was sitting in front of the mirror, trying to remove her earring. She seemed to be struggling with it as the bolt refused to budge. He went up to her in slow motion, enjoying her struggle, for she was trying to do his job, what he had envisioned. He had seen their wedding night, him undressing her, with his eyes and hands that were unsteady but sure.
He stood behind her and she upturned her face, the frown got deeper in question on finding him there. He lifted his head in silent question and then went on his knees with his intention to help clear.
He gently took her hand away, relieving her of her job. He took over what he had wanted to do ever since he has seen her in this garb. He traced a finger on the earring first one then the other. From where it started in her hair to her ear to the very end near her shoulder. He saw her squirm but not in abhorrence but in invitation; to touch her body and soul with a tilt of her head, with intake of her breath and slight parting of her lips as she closed her eyes.
He whispered to her "open your eyes, I want to see you see me." She slowly opened her eyes and murmured, "Why are you torturing me like this. First the earring, now you. Why do I have to struggle when you seem so calm."
He retorted with a laugh, "Calm? My hands are trembling Geet, at the thought of your soft skin, Can I ever forget the feel of your skin as I had put the earring that night?" he pulled her down from the stool sit on the floor in front of him her back against the dresser, explaining, "You don't need the mirror, you can look in my eyes, see what you do to me as I remove these."
He slowly unscrewed the earring, holding her lobe, as if she were made of porcelain and if he was too swift, she would break. Once, he had the earring free, he removed the link from her hair and without breaking the eye lock he put the piece on the dresser. He felt her ragged breath leave her as he leaned close, he tucked her hair behind her ear like he had done a few times before.
"Geet, did I hurt you?" he softly asked her.
She simply shook her head but lifted her hand to try and work on her other earring.
"Unh Unh! No," taking her hand away and putting it in her lap. He bent to continue his ministrations on the other ear. This time he could not resist tracing a finger on her cheek as he slowly removed the earring and putting it away. She again closed her eyes and he pulled on her ear to see her open her eyes with a jolt.
"I told you not to close your eyes." He teased giving a lopsided smile. She looked down to hide the feelings his smile evoked. He put a finger under her chin, to lift it up till she looked into his eyes and traced her lips in retaliation of not following his orders. Geet sucked in her breath and said, "Enough, I will do the rest. It was the earring giving me trouble, now I can handle it."
He laughed at himself, "Ha! what about me Geet, how do I handle it? Do you think seeing you like that, like a bride was not a torture in itself? Do you think you could give me a glimpse and not follow through?"
Geet flustered gets up to run away, but he leaps up to his feet and pulls her holding her wrist. She is pulled back into him with her back to him. Her arm is twisted behind her, between them. She looks over the right shoulder to ease the hold and into his eyes, pleading him to leave her and let her go. His left hand on her waist halts her writhing. He bends with his mouth near her ear and breathes, "This is for trying to run away from me."
She winces as his right hand twists her wrist a bit to get her to comply and with his left hand, he removes the tikka from her hair and dangles in front of her. "This is not needed right now, all you need on your forehead is this," saying he drops a light kiss on her forehead. Geet was shocked and puts her head back against his shoulders in reflex. She felt herself go tender inside, like a jelly pliant at his touch, unable to stop the shiver and wriggle in need even when he was not gentle.
Maan traced the fingers of his left hand along her jaw and let them follow the line of her throat to the base of neck. Geet succumbed to the torture letting out a moan, "Maan," she breathed as her mind whirled out of control. He let them travel between the valley of her breast to reach the pendant of the necklace and lifted it up and over her head slowly not disturbing her hair. He let go of her wrist and turned her around. Putting the necklace away, he ran his hands up her arms, over her shoulders, to cup her face.
He sighed, "Now you look real to me Geet, you look like my Geet. The jewelry look good on you, but I find you more beautiful just as you are."
He then smiled at her, turned and left the room.
Undress me - Anggun
When I can't see right in your eyes
When I'm surrounded in the craziness of time
When you're understanding, is trying hard to stand still
When I wear layers of my pride, you should
Undress me, undress me
Unlock this chain and set me free
Remind me to be myself
Undress me, undress me
Unleash my heart and make me see
When I become someone else
Whenever I'm trapped in this tide
When I forgotten that there is you and I
When your persuasion is fighting in a blindfold
when I wear my bad moods to my mouth, you should
Undress me, undress me
Unlock this chain and set me free
Remind me to be myself, myself
Undress me, undress me
Unleash my heart and make me see
When I become someone else
Like a rose without its thorn
Like a bird without a song
Like the fire without the flame
If there's a painless love, we wouldn't be the same
Undress me, undress me
Unlock this chain and set me free
Remind me to be myself, my self
Undress me, undress me
Unleash my heart and make me see
When I become someone else
Undress me, undress me
Unlock this chain and set me free
Remind me to be myself
Undress me, undress me
Unleash my heart and make me see
