Weekends here.. and i thought let me round up what happened this week.. cos, i am kinda disoriented about the happenings of this week... generally i remember stuff.. that push me to watch the coming weeks episodes.. this week that visions kinda blur..
first we had maan remembering the jhumka incident and realised he should now stop fooling around with himself and admit to his feelings for her... he decides to give her a rose...jiska office staff post mortem kar deti hai...
then maan gets to know Geets applying for a new job, but he doesnt want her to go.. so he offers her an appointment letter and she refuses, and then.. he is so mad he goes to his dadi and vents ... and then he disappears as he is mad at geet for behaving the way she did...
the next thing we know dadi falls ill and geet takes her to the hospital, where she cant get thro maan, but NT see's geet and gets to know she has something to do with khurana constructions...
dadi realises maaneet are playing aankmicholi with their feelings and decides to play cupid... she puts forth the idea of maan's marriage.. geet doesnt like it... but she thinks this is the best way to get away from the maan she has started harboring feelings for... and then.. she see's him... and cant stop herself... and then that magical line happens, where he says... chill woman, i was away just for a night... dont make a big deal, you were the one who wanted to walk away for ever... obviously he looked affected, and more confident about how he wanted to behave around her-he knew he had a way with her... !
finally geet refuses to find a contract fiancee for maan.. maan now knows she feels for him too.. he wants her to say it... and he challenges himself that he would... she goes to tell dadi the same, and dadi in turn makes her wear all the khandaani jewellery.. and maan see's her all decked up.. but simply stares as she walks away...
we are made to believe for the zillionth time that dev and geet may come face to face.. and for once NT and Dev sounded like a married couple who shared some amount of love.. yes, now i am very srue the creatives come here and read each and every comment, balke, i am pretty sure, they are paying someone just to read all the FF's and posts !! cos it was just the other day that someone pointed how NT is always talking of getting money ..!
now coming to what i thought it could have been ...
firstly...since there was so much story content in this week, may be a little more than what we get to see during other weeks, i felt what lacked was intensity...whether it was geet missing maan, or maan realising his feelings for geet and growing a little more confident about them... i perhaps also attribute it to the fact that their main director guy aint well.. and that makes alot of a difference...
also gurmeet and dhrasthi for a large part of the week werent in the same frame.. they managed well.. but somewhere something was missing.. i as a viewer excuse it cos i personally like actor alot and i wouldnt want him pushing himself.. kudos to gurmeet that he shot each and every day...
but Mr. Vincent Franklin...where is the story headed to? Please i dont want another DMG... Geet has a story of his own.. please dont turn the story into a bag of comedy.... i want a little more sensiblity on part of Maan and geet.. i would have appreciated it a little more had, they focussed of Geet fighting her feelings for the sake of he baby and trying to find out where dev and NT are... had she and Dev met half way, as in, had she come to know he is in India and dev that she was in delhi and NT that she working in khurana constructions, i would have mentally been more occupied... and what happened to the office politics.. where Sasha was always trying to run geet down? and when maan was in London, they could have shown better situations.. like the ones from the past... where Geet and maan are stuck in the jungle, where he had helped her the most.. though he never intended to.. her perhaps finding the taveez... Geet remembering all those things maan did for her, rather than their eye locks... had they shown her turmoil... with respect to her responsiblity and her feelings just the way they do with maan, it would have been a little more appealing.. some of the scenes were mere fillers!
they could have traced the relationship between Maan and geet over the time and made us and her also see thro why she shd give the guy a chance..
and now, since i am sure the creatives do come here, i am hoping they read this and incorporate this into their story line.. please, i wanna watch a little more than moments.. not just moments..
one of the reasons why the stories of other hit shows on Star One stagnated beyond a point was cos, they digressed from the main plot and concentrated on giving moments between the leads.. i hope Geet doesnt follow the same path!!..
