Yeah, but it will only work until the audience has not wizened up to their tactics....and they will have to think of newer ones because no one will trust these stories anymore......I am surprised at these journos, do they not confirm their stories, it will only lead to their loss of credibility. Anyways, I think the TRPs are due to what was shown on the episode (think Megha revelation) rather than the tactics....everyone was curious to know will he won't he (for the DM-doc wedding), so they tuned in.

I am beginning to beleive this was all a tactic like the person from rival production house said......coz if Akshay Anand said his love track is starting next week and then there is this whole jealousy angle against Vishal (whose seeds I think were laid by Toral y'day) then when is the leap gonna happen, not anytime soon I am sure. Besides, there has been no confirmation from the production house or the channel (like there was during the 10 year leap) or from RR for that matter (he is staying very mysterious on the topic, neither confirming nor denying) and Aasiya has denied giving any statement about the leap, so they all want to stay clear of any accusation of spreading false news.....so without any corroboration from anyone directly involved in the show, you can't just trust these rumors from journos coz it might all actually be a publicity stunt......like the news of Aasiya being replaced (which was denied by the production house later after it caused a furore) and Hiten-Khemi marriage(which was just false).

When I say first few months, I mean like 11 months till the whole Arjan track started before the first leap....from your other post it seems like you just started watching, so you wouldn't know how good the show was back then and how dismal it is in comparison.....for people like me who have watched since the beginning, beleive me the only reason we are here is because of habit and memories of what the show was like back then and also I guess a sense of morbid curiosity to see how much worse it can get and I guess also somewhere a little glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe we might get to see some semblance of resemblance to the show that they started out with. I am just surprised that the show is able to gain some new audience when it has lost a major chunk of the old ones with it's deterioration.

yes . i also completely agree with you. once a show or its characters gain an entry into the hearts and souls of its viewers , it would be very difficult to leave that ,forever for, no matter whatever idiotic things the show has to offer! its sort of an emotional attachment. i watched this show actually when it was not as good as it used to be, but still i went through the written updates and some of the video updates and became so deeply attached to it. i have to say one thing BANDINI IS DIFFERENT its not like most of the other shows . once you really get attached to it you cant leave it, you cannot forget it just like many others which we watch and forget. for me even if the serial ends or takes a long leap(both have the same result),my love for bandini and sanraj never dies.i will still cherish the good old days of bandini for years to come. in my opinion the audience those who once fell in love with bandini will remain attached to it for ages . one and half years is not a big thing.

Yeah.....but it has completely put me off BT's other shows......although their show on Zee is doing very well and is the top show, I don't watch it and even though their new show on SP has been gaining some good feedback, I am staying away from it too....because we all know eventually where they all are heading if history is anything to go by.

shalu bandini is still a lot better than a lot of other BT shows..in those the leads are seperated constantly never together..here at least they are together for a while 😆 also indian audiences lap up these vamp tracks or else they wont be resorted to with such regularity in all shows..trps increase with these triangle type tracks..and here coming to the current track i feel vishal just actually might start loving santu & refuse to go with megha when she turns up..he's a child after all..they are very adjustable easy to mould at that age..

trps after 10 yr leap were always higher than last year trp..you all may think those were good old days but sorry to disagree from trp point of view bandini constantly at no.1 on imagine this year...barring a few stray occassions ..you please check if i am wrong..it wasnt so last year AT ALL....now show needs no more leaps..its doing well enough..please cvs pay heed.....these are good times for the show ..dont ruin things now
