Tv mag gr8 reported that reality show kitchen champion hosted by tv superstar RONIT ROY FACES possibility of being axed due to massive fall in trp ratings..RONIT is a hugely successful tv actor and lead protagonist of imagine's top show bandini..produced by his long time friend & close associate Ekta kapoor..while bandini with some smart publicity campaigns has managed to get trps to shoot...kc dropped to rank 83 ..trp 0.83...abysmal for a show on a channel with GRE like colors....WHAT ON EARTH are so manyColors stars doing on this show..writes gr8..it should involve general public if it wants success..and whats a buffalo doing in a reality show..kc season 2 comes across as a half baked product..shooting is complete for whole of season 2 now what will ahead depends on the spomsors..because ultimately its a game of trps ONLY..

Frankly, RR is the main source of attraction in KC, with his wit,

energy & liveliness. But with second season -- the contestants

were not so enthu or witty, so.......... But RR continues to shine

in any role.

So hopefully no more body-doubles.....I tell you, I have not seen such a liberal use of BDs in any other show till date......infact I don't think I have seen such shabby used of BDs in shows from any other production house.

LOL....today I finally saw KC for the first time, just got subscriberd to Colors channel, not sure if they are airing it late here in the US coz i heard that in India it has already wrapped up, here todays episode had Romit Raj and the character Poonam from Bhagyavidhata.....anyways, all the sponsor names were blurred out......the sponsor on the banner in the KC stage was blurred out and even on the appliances and props were blurred out.....it was so obvious and looked weird.......reminded me of the comment made in this post about the sponsors pulling out from the show because of low TRPs

Maybe the sponsors are blurred because it's an international broadcast or something...
because there are no sponsors blurred here in the Indian broadcast..
