guys i don't know if it was posted before in this forum but someone wrote this comment on youtube.....check it out........

"Do u know after dancing the whole night and winning in the grand finale Jeetumoni and his family left for home town at 6 AM next day by train from Pune in Geetanjali Express. The organizer did not even bothered to pay them neither the Air ticket or railway ticket nor hotel stay. The poor family pay by themselves to travel by train? (Information received as per media).This what happened in Realty Show.Jeetumoni we are there for you are the son of soil of Assam."

no surprise; Zee is expert in all such things...I feel bad for little kids; they muct hav been exhausteed so much by the end of 4-5 months and now they get such a treatment from Zee ; wat ashame (if news is true)

This is one topic which can initiate a lengthy discussion as it involves many things

1. Agreement/contract
2. Exploitation
3. Humanity side

Zee is at fault if they didn't pay for any thing which they agreed in agreement but they are not at fault if they didn't pay for air ticket or hotel stay because they never agreed for this. I don't know what was in the agreement Zee signed with Jeetu, so can't say whether Zee is at fault or not. I know many businesses have morality issue and they do not fulfill the agreement but ZEE is a big company and I doubt they will say no to honor contract just for few thousand rupees.

Zee is providing entertainment but it's just a business for them and every business wants to maximize their profits and how you do it? you do it by controlling your cost. Zee is doing reality shows for sa many years so by now they must have standardized what all expenses they will cover for the participants and They must have explained this to each contestants and their family. I think that's the reason why Jeetu's family is not complaining about it (It's media and others who are complaining not Jeetu himself or his family) because they knew they have to pay for expenses related to hotel stay and travel.

Think for a minute what Jeetu or any other contestant from these shows has gained. The exposer and identity they get here is going to help them in big way. Look at Dharmesh he got a chance in a movie, Binny in a TV serial, Siddesh got other reality shows without DID they might had to wait long to reach up to here. So it's all gain for contestants even if we forget the prize money and performance fee they might be getting. Ofcourse there is this exploitation issue as ZEE holds all the cards. If Jeetu won't do it then some one else will do it, so the participants don't have any negotiation power and will have to agree to ZEE terms. Ofcourse one can argue about humanity side and say Zee is making a lot of money through them so they must take good care of them.

these kidz... suffer through all the program...... and they made the kidz as liars as well....
but i really respect their parents for being so patience.....

I think he should have got a free ticket back or like free hotel stay for a few nights in Mumbai for like any after DID celebrations whatsoever ( at least I think so) If you ignore profits, there is also something called humanity and i'm sure everyone became family like there! About going back by train, i'm sure the return tickets were already booked by the parents when they came there because if they have no provision there, they would have probably taken care of those details in advance! :) But I think they should have got a free one back because Jeetu and all the others have been an ACID to DID! LOL I mean ASSET. AHAHAH

AAH you changed your post. Good, It's better to ignore posts that are posted just to ignite a fight.

I do not think it such a big issue. They have already won some holiday trip to Mauritus for some family members as part of the prize money itself.

Regarding the issue of tickets etc. there are so many possibilities like only [ Jeetumoni and his brother Manas would have been elligible ]/[ trip arranged by Zee but travel date is not convenient]/[Zee will only reimburse the fares afterwards] blah blah blah..

Rather than the prize money itself he has already won so much fame and recognition, in all probability he will even start featuring in Assamese movies/ programs etc. He has earned something which no amount of money could buy.
