Are Indians really like that?

I have lived in america my whole life and have visited india only a few times so I dont know how indians really are, but seriously why the hell were people just standing there watching manav on the road unconscious when people should be taking action by calling an ambulance or trying to figure out whats wrong with him. In such a situation i would expect people to freak out a bit and and not just there like a bunch of retards. Is that how it really is in india? I am pretty sure its not so these stupid serials need to stop portraying indians as being heartless. This isnt the first time ive seen that on indian tv. I am sorry if I have offended anyone but seriously that was just plain messed up.

Of course its not like that. Someone or the other usually volunteers to help. Sometimes people hesitate since the police pesters them later, but still they do bring the wounded to the hospital. In any case, the traffic policemen or any other policemen patrolling the area always turn in to help. At least this is wat I've seen. I live in India.

exactly its not like that...than why the hell wont they show that on tv. I know its not a big deal for them, but honestly it just gives india a bad impression. Even these small details make a difference in how we view certain cultures. I know indians arent like that so these dumb serials need to set that straight.

here also v face similar situations where ppl are reluctant to help cz of police issues and court cases
bt me & my dad personally helped a boy who ws badly injured on da road and rushed him to hospital few years ago...
it's really sad dat ppl are scared to stand up and offer help

yah you are right i understand that people are scared and reluctant, but its like i couldnt stand to just watch I would prolly take the risk of a police case happening but i guess thats just me. That is veryyyyy nice of you and your dad to help someone like that even though it was a risk. My cousin got into a serious bike accident 3 years ago and it was at 2 in the morning so no one was around and luckily a laari guy saw him and actually helped and rushed him to the hospital. If he wasnt there my cousin would be dead. I know people like that exist so it would be nice to see it on tv. It may not be something to make a big deal out of, but I just think we need to show that helping someone can make a difference significantly and if we show this on tv more people will do that.

Ppl didnt help Manav coz CVs want Archu to help him. Only then they can increase the TRP. Normally people do help. If not all atleast a few ppl are gud at heart amoung the crowd.

Exactly....when ARchu had fainted,they had promptly took her to her house...but here no one bothered even to telephone or call the police....vry ridiculous....I havnt yet seen ppl behaving this way...normally ppl help n take the person either to hospital or call the police.

They just want to show as Archana being the first one to take care of him.
