Chapter 48

Faz had been happy with her impish plans of getting Abs and Mann together on the bridal shower. Well it was actually Vicky's idea, executed by her. She had always been the one who partnered Vicky in crime at school and Maan had been the silent ring leader. He was the most devilish, though he managed to pull off everything with a straight face and innocent eyes.

Vicky was known prankster, but he could smooth talk his way out of any trouble and he always had girls who supported him like devotee. Faz totally saw what these soppy girls liked in him and was glad to on Vicky's side, because she had had many a tasks done by silly girls wanting to have a piece of Vicky. She had had her home work finished, her assignments taken care of and attendance given when she would be busy with one of the pranks being played out in the halls of the school.

She particularly remembered the one that had almost gotten them killed. This was when they were in Eigth grade and Maan was in Eleven. They had taken a bicycle up on the terrace and parked it on the parapet of the school and had spray painted, "More parking on the other side of the building". In their haste to do the job, as they were about to jump back on the the wall of the terrace, the bike had moved almost off the stand. Maan had jumped back and Vicky with him but he had almost lost his footing and it had taken both Maan and Faz to save both the bike and Vicky. It has been worth the effort to see the results next day of the prank when first thing everyone saw was that bike and the graffiti. No one had found out but to this date that remained their most dangerous prank ever.

Faz, Vicky and Maan had deviced this plan and everything was in motion. Faz welcomed her guests to Vicky's apartment which was decorated in red as per the tradition in US as assured by Vicky. Maan had not come to help, he had loads to look after for the wedding. It was Arjun and Vicky who helped.

The atmosphere was created of a budoir with hues that ranged from romantic to sensual. It had dim lights, flowers in red and pink and lots of ribbons streaming across the room. Discreet lighting gave a halo effect to the room. The girls are going to enjoy. She had called Nargis and asked her to ensure that others are dressed as per the theme given, Red and Pink the two colors to denote nice and naughty. Each guest was to bring one nice gift for the couple and one naughty for the honeymoon. Nargis had assured her that everything was as per the theme and they will be there around seven.

Abs had worn a pink dress in taffeta knee length, that was demure but it hugged her curves in a manner that accentuated her figure. She had red handbag and shoes to go with it and red ruby pendant and earring to accessorize her look. She looked the glowing bride to be.

Nupur had worn a red mini skirt with a baby pink cami with a sequined neckline that she knew looked amazing on her. She had worn pink shoes and jewelry to go with the dress and held a pink sequined clutch.

Nargis wore a pink layered one shouldered dress that had long billowing skirts flairing from waist to her ankles that made her look very tall. She wore red belt to highlight her small waist. She was carrying a red purse and red shoes added that extra height to her already tall frame.

Faz was wearing a red churidaar kurta that was latest in fashion, short kurti and fitting trousers that looked more western than an indian outfit. She wore diamonds and rubies pendant and earring to go with the white bead on the dress.

They all hugged each other and Faz directed each girl to keep the gifts in the red and the pink sections. Faz had the game rolling once the rest of the girls came. Sasha, Tasha and some cousins of Abs were invited as well. The first game was Bridal Scattegories, where all of them had to name things related to wedding but each word has to start with Abolee's initials. One can use Abolee Verma to play the game. Once the rules were explained and the everyone gathered in a circle, the ball started rolling with Abolee and she said ' "Maan!", everyone groaned "No! you have to say something other than Maan!" so Abs said ' "baarat!".

"Nice one bhabhi jaan!" said Faz. The next in line was Sasha, she said ' "Ekaant!" Ah! Was the collective response. "Hmm! Abs shaadi ke baad wahi chaihiyega na." quipped Tasha, all giggled.

Next was Nargis's turn, she pretended to think by tapping her finger on her temple, when everyone asked her to hurry up she whispered, "Orgasm!" then burst out laughing when she saw Abs going red.

Tasha nudged Nargis and said, "Aap bade shaitaan ho! Hamari boss ko sharma diya!" and then winked to spoil the mock anger.

Abs said, "Please, aap log kyon mera mazaak udaa rahe ho! I am so scared!" Faz went up to her, hugged and said, "Bhabhi jaan, fikar mat kijiye, hamne aapke liye saara intezaam kar rakkha hai", giving a peck on her cheek.

They all laughed and played and everyone gave a word related to wedding from Romance, Love, Excitement, Anxiety, Relatives and then it was Nupur's turn who had been taking part but was more passive than her usual boisterous self. She seemed to wander off to far away land when it was her turn to say and they asked her as she was not responding to them the first time. They all chimed, "Nupur, one word related to wedding, using Abs's initial."

Nupur looked at them confused and then said, " Arjun!"

nice one. yeah naughty aur nice ka touch achcha thaa. bechari Abs. Nargis nay to uskay hosh udaa diye. While reading I was wondering if maan had walked in just then to Abs ka kya hota!!!!... :)
