I think that's not really true. When someone sings well, he compliments very genuinely which is more than you can say for a lot of judges.

My choices are a bit different:

1. Suresh Wadkar

2. Zakir Hussain

3. Sonu Nigam

Shankar, Shaan, Vishal-Shekhar (they are one right? 😛)
