I have a feeling that Anurag is the only one ( of course apart from Taani) who knows the truth about Riteish....
And there is a possibility that some sort of vow or promise or some real grave threat must have kept Taani from telling it to Anurag.
And besides the shock of being ditched....Anurag also simultaneously discovered the truth about Riteish..
I have a feeling that Anurag unknowingly fell into Riteish's trap and may be he was led into believing that Taani doesn't have feelings for him anymore.Quit like Subodh made him think that Taani loved Subodh...
Even Taani's character never really confesses her love for Anurag all these years.May be this silence from Taani's side would have given Anurag's contemplation more ground.And ultimately when the truth about Riteish must have dawned on him it was already too late...
As per Shekhar's decision Taani owns the factory only as long as she is his legal daughter -in-law,and Riteish must have had tried all his wits to end this bond.

Anurag being the sensitive and emotional character couldn't have taken all that at once...
The sad part is Taani n Anu turn out to be sufferers of sins that they never really committed.😭

Yes even i think Anurag will be under the impression that Taani does not love him and hence will fall for neha while still thinking of her as his best friend and loving her too
