I think Priety, Amisha and Sush are responsible for the way their careers turned out. Priety's coke addiction, Sush's tryst with a variety of different men and alcohol and Amisha's tackiness all played a huge factor. In bollywood actresses already have a very short shelf life so they really cannot afford to let their personal lives take over. Look at Aishwarya, she is icy and diplomatic to a fault but is still going strong. Katrina as well....I mean she started with boom which was a tacky B grade flick with skin and sex show all the way but she quickly realized depicting the image of a "bholi bhali hindustani naari" that does not talk about her boyfriends, that believes in "being single until married", goes around visiting dargas, mandirs and masjids is the way to go. These are all double standards ofcourse because the average bollywood actor can get away with corruption, infidelity, bigamy, murder, extortion etc. 🥱

so how true is the preity coke thing? And im not trying to pick a fight or anything or defend her, because i honestly just dont really know how big this scandal got, i was sort of off doing other things and giving BW a little break when that news cropped up. Can someone actually inform me of the whole situation and what went on?

ho rude is that! how could they categorize ones like Preity , Urmila n Sush with the others!
and they should 1st of all fix their nasty words..
and preity not being n movies is a personal decision..she wanted to do smthing else n she did it.she isn't some1 who could stick to just one thing..she likes exploring new things in life..at that point she was bored f movies n her own words..
it wasn't like she never got a movie 4 these past 2 years so she s staying at home or smthing!IPL took her away..not lack of film offers!

n Urmila is simply amazing!hope she gets back too!!we miss great actresses f her caliber today!

Sush never was interested n having a racing ahead career..she is n has always been more in to her business n her daughter than movies..so even 4 her t wasn't a lack of offers that kept her away 4m limelight 4 quite a time..a personal choice.

it isn't a must that every actress is alke n all they want to do is acting..they have other things in life..which they consider as even more imp priorities..

so bakwas article..the stupid jounalist needs to learn writing first😡

I don't think its about gender or its about talent. Its all about resources. How many of our top ranking male stars do not have their own production houses?? Almost all of them do! And they usually work in their own movies after a certain age. Big production houses usually cast younger celebs and this is the case in both genders.

If these actresses would have found someone to finance their movies or if they would have made their own production houses then they would still be churning out movie after movie. And if you have resources then you can even defy failure by continuing to launch your products in the market and you end up getting things right after various trials. But, sadly many talented people only get one chance to prove themselves and even when somtimes they do succeed, they still don't get another chance. Its all about contancts and networking and having people behind your back to back you up. Everything has become very commercialized, creative arts has become a business proposition, that is why we usually see the same old faces hanging out there for decades, and some newbies get lucky by forming great contacts or if some veterans in the business take them under their wings.

SO if you're not successful - get married and have children - you will save the journey of your pathetic lifetime....

That's their pb if they get married or not or have children or not - is there a specific limit clock to get involved emotionally or have children (adoption does exist too).....

Not everyone wants to produce children or get married...pfffff

The writer is way too hard & mean to these actresses.
What the hell? These actresses probably achieved more than the writer him/herself.

To be honest, Preity, Urmila & Sushmita should not be in this list or be compared to actresses like Koena, Amisha & Tanushree.

Even though I'm NOT a Tanushree fan, calling her a "dimwit" is way too rude!
And wth, I think Sushmita can act. She has screen presence, she is gorgeous and she's fashionable.
And tell Urmila to get married? It's her choice when she wants to get married. Just because she's over 30, doesn't mean she has to.

It's a bullsh*t article, and I'm allergic to it. :)
