C2005 N YOU

How did Challenge 2005 affect you ???? did it touch you in anyway personally ?? did it affect your daily lives ???

it affected me to such a degree that i would be humming away songs ... while ironing... working on a pc at the office... during meetings when i was tensed... 😕....while taking showers...😆 became quite a bathroom singer i must say ...😳

my husband at work would be downloading the episodes from the forum on weekly basis.. he wld call me up to report the latest happenings while at work...

i nearly had my hands on someone's throat (he was over 65) at a friend's place .. cause we were discussing the show and this man (who was visiting from mumbai) said oh vinit is such a good singer .. he is going to win ... my fav. is Hemu so you can imagine... 😆

share your experiences too ppl.. (hope this is not a boring topic)

Jokes apart, I started appreciating music more, it brought me closer to my roots ( I have lived outside India all my life), I started feeling proud at Indian talent after watching young 17 - 19 year olds do so well on such a stage..

oh ya i also wanted to add that i learnt the price of practise from these young singers. I remember reading on a chat that Hema practices for 8 hrs a day which I think is really cool... i mean how many sacrifices they must have given as kids so that today we can apprecite them on such a stage.

and at the end of the day, the geniune smiles on vinit..hema..nihira...himani.. and their honest tears made me realise that this is a competition and like every other competition, there are winners and there are losers but sometimes, its not jst abot winning and losing..its about making others value u so much tat when u leave, they cry for u...
