Actor Lee Pace (Pushing Daises) is in negotiations to co-star in Bill Condon's The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. According to EW's Hollywood Insider, "Summit Entertainment wouldn't confirm the casting, but sources say his name rose to the top after he read for the role of Garrett, Edward's best friend in the final book of the saga, last week. E! Online first posted news of this casting yesterday." Condon officially signed on in April to helm the project, which is being split into two films with the first one hitting theaters on November 18, 2011. Pace recently signed on to co-star in the HBO pilot for The Miraculous Year.

According to Wikipedia, Garrett is "a tall, rangy vampire with ruby eyes and long sandy hair, is an adventurer, and alludes to being an American Patriot."
