Hey, guys...

Don't get offended or anything. I'm just curious, not hidden meaning...

Maan and Geet were at a Dargah. So, that means they are Sikh-Punjabis...

But why was the Baba shouting. 'Allah uu akbar'?

I dont get it... Can someone explain?

Pls and pls

well, actually dargah are sufi shrines where hindus and muslims both pray specially for asking blessings. I think dargah are places where sufi saints are buried. The preists at dargah are sufis and so the baba was saying allah....

Hazrat Nizamuddin was a Sufi Saint. The place is visited by people from all the faiths though it is of a Muslim saint

"Sufism is, in its essence, the way of love. Love is considered to be a spiritual alchemy by means of which the baser qualities of a human being are transformed into higher ones. In this respect it suffices to say that Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia is known as Mehboob-e-Elahi, the beloved of Allah. Of course the spiritual status of a beloved is much higher than that of a lover."

This is my most loved saying of his: (translated) that aptly represents GEET running for MAAN as he is her soul companion

I come running to the end of Your street,
Tears are washing and washing my cheek.
Union with You -- what else can I seek?
My soul I surrender as Your name I repeat.

Well Yam, they could be anything they wish for! :-) I think the customs of marriage are similar to Sikhs and Hindus regarding the sindoor, saat pheras and stuff
