Mumbai, 02 August 2010: Bollywood, where there are no permanent friends or enemies, a few friendships which have survived through the years.

Salman Khan and Aamir Khan

They came together in the classic film, Andaz Apna Apna. In spite of being professional rivals, they have managed to stay friends, even now promoting each other's films and other activities.

Amrita Arora and Kareena Kapoor

Bebo and Amu as they like to call each other have been friends since they started their career almost together. Kareena is obviously much more while Amrita has settled for matrimony and motherhood, the two however have remained good friends.

Shah Rukh Khan- Arjun Rampal

Arjun Rampal and SRK have been friends since the former acted in latter's home production Om Shanti Om. The two have extended their friendship to their families and the Rampal and Khan family is often seen socializing together.

Rakesh Roshan-Jeetendra

Along with another friend Randhir Kapoor, these buddies of yesteryears have never permitted age to affect their friendship. They still get together to play cards and are always together on the most important days of each other's lives.

Shah Rukh Khan-Juhi Chawla

Juhi and Shah Rukh have been friends since they did a film Yes Boss together. Even after Juhi was away from acting for a while to get married and become a mother, SRK kept the friendship going. Juhi was also his business partner for a while. Juhi's family and SRK's family often holiday together.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni- John Abraham

It might be John's interest in sports that has attracted him to Dhoni, but the two have been inseparable for a while now. When Dhoni got secretly married, John and his girlfriend Bipasha Basu were the only invitees apart from close friends and family.

Preity Zinta-Sussanne Roshan

This friendship is unique. Generally the lead pair of a film get along together and then romance ensues. No such luck for Hrithik Roshan as his actress of the film Koi Mil Gaya, Preity Zinta got along like a house on fire with his wife, Sussanne instead. Preity and Sussanne are still on great terms.

Poonam Dhillon-Padmini Kolhapure

When Padmini eloped with then boyfriend Pradeep Sharma, it was in Poonam Dhillon's boyfriend Ashok Thakeria's house she found refuge in. Padmini and Poonam have been friends forever, even though their lives have taken different paths. Poonam divorced Thakeria, while Padmini is still with Sharma. Even now the girls attend most dos together.

Sanjay Dutt-Suniel Shetty

Sanjubaba and Anna, the two action heroes of Bollywood could very well be rivals. But these large hearted actors chose to be friends instead and have been together for a while. There is so much trust betweent them that before his marriage to Manyata, it was Suniel's wife Mana who used to handle Sanjay's finances. There was a kind of rift that happened recently, but the two are back to being buddies again.
