As soon as every1 was done wid the breakfast..Mr. Khurana and other ppl sat in the living room remembering the old golden days..

Geet and Maan were still on the table..Maan not really liking anything..and Geet who was now done wid breakfast was waiting for Maan to cumout of his grief and show her the place..

Geet: u ready!?..she sed looking at him

Maan nodded giving her a sad look.."then lets go!"..she sed excitedly ignoring his gloomy expression

Yeh hai terrace!..Maan sed climbing the stairs..behind Geet and looking around..he had showed her the whole house..kitchen..rooms..lounge..even the store room..study room..everything!..now terrace was left so he brought her there

Geet: wow!..yahan par kitni ache hawa chaltee hai..nahi?

Maan didn't reply..wid an annoyed look he was still looking around..

Geet: kya yaar..tum hamesha aisay he rehtay ho kya?

Now he looked at her..wid questioning eyes.."Kya matlab?" he asked in a weary tone

Geet: matlab yeh..k tum kuch bolte he nahi..sawal poochtee hoon tou..koi jawab nahi..tumhe kya main gun point par le kar aayee thee k mujhe apna ghar dikhaao.. isse acha hota k main wahan lounge main beth kar bore hojaatee..she sed getting upset

Maan: dekho mujhe koi shoq nahi hai..tumhe pura ghar dikhane ka..woh to dad ne kaha iss liye..

Geet: lekin apna kaam to ache se karo na..uncle ne yeh bhi kaha tha kya..k Geet ko bore karna hai..

Maan: to kya karoon main ma'am aap k liye..nachoon..gaaoon..kya karon..aap bataiye..? he sed cuming close to her..his voice filled wid exasperation

Geet: hmmm..dance..dance karo..she sed making fun of him..which made maan more mad

Maan: Dekho..tum!..he sed cuming more close to her..pointing his finger toward her..his action kinda scared her..and caused her to lose balance..she was about to fall..but Maan hurriedy grabbed her by waist..she also took hold of him on his shoulder..she closed her eyes tightly..scared of falling down..Maan kept looking at her..he realized he just overreacted..he should calm down..Geet was rite..he should atleast reply to her questions..

Geet now slowly opened her eyes and was looking at Maan.." are u okay?"..he asked softly..and helped her standing up..

Geet nodded.. im ok"..Geet sed looking at Maan..who was now looking at the ground..

"sorry"..Maan apologized.."mujhe aise nahi karna chahiye tha.."

Geet didn't reply..she was always talking..but her silence made Maan feel more guilty..

Maan: hmm..acha tum Ice cream khatee ho kya?..he tried to change the topic..and be friendly

Geet didn't reply..Maan again tried "acha..tumhara favorite flavor kya hai ?..she now looked at Maan surprisingly..how was he being so pleasant to her..

Geet walked to him..and then moved forward her hand toward him..

Maan was confused by her actions.."Pinch me" she sed..

Maan: Kyon?..he asked again all puzzled

Geet: kahin main sapna to nahi dekh rahee na..u r being soo nice to me..?

This time Maan again gave her "the angry young man" look..

Geet chuckled.."acha acha..ghussa nahi karte yaar..mera favorite flavor..hmm"

"Strawberry hai na"..he sed quickly..Geet was all amazed again..

Geet: tumko kaise pata?

Maan: bas yaad hai..he sed moving his hand through his hair

Geet: acha..hmm..mujhe bhi kuch kuch yaad hai..tumhain..palak paneer bohot pasand hai na..i remember..jab bhi maa palak paneer banatee thee..aur tum ghar par aate thay..to apnee aur meree plate main se saara paneer kha jaate thay..im amazed..itna paneer khanay k baad bhi tum itnay fit ho!

Maan beamed on the compliment.."u r welcome" she sed nudging him

Maan this time laughed: thanks

Geet also chuckled.. "chalain?"..she asked

Maan nodded..

Mom..main aur Geet bahar jaa rahe hain..paas waale icecream parlor..kisi ko icecream chahiye kya..Aunty appko?

Mrs. Handa: no beta thanks..tum dono jaao

Maan: dadi..Mom?...koi bhi nahi

Dadi: nahi beta..tumlog jaao..enjoy karo!

Geet and Maan smiled and made their way outside

Dadi: chalo acha hai bachon main dosti hogayee..warna yeh maan bhi na..dadi was very happy to see them together

Mrs. Handa: nahi to maajee..itna acha hai..itna polite and nice..kahin bhi akrhoo nahi hai!

Mrs. Khurana and Dadi looked at each other and laughed.."pata chal jaaye ga..waise yeh bachpan ki dosti hai..shayad Maan ko badal de"..dadi sed..Mrs. khurana and Handa..smiled..

Maan drove to the icecream parlor..he got out of the car..and started walking in..Geet who was waiting for him to open the door for her..kept looking at him..he turned around looking for Geet..and saw her cuming toward him..

Maan: kitna slow chaltee ho tum..

Geet who was annoyed: oh hello..i was waiting for u to open the door for me..

Maan: Kyaa? Why?..main nokar hoon kya tumhara..

Geet: haye rabba!..tum pehle kisi larkee k saath kabhi bahar nahi gaye kya?

Maan: 2 strawberry large cups plz..he ordered and then walked to a table and sat there..Geet followed him..

Geet: haan to batao..pehle kabhie larhkee k saath bahar nahi gaye kya?..she sed while setting down in her chair

Maan:"haan gaya hoon na Dadi and mom!..he sed while checking out the pamphlet lying on the table..

Geet: Maaaann!!!..main unn k baare main nahi pooch rahi!..mera matlab hai..koi female frend ya phir Girlfrend? the word GirlFriend was under pressure

Maan looked at Geet..and raised his 1 eyebrow: inn sab faltu cheezon k liye time nahi hai..!

Geet: excuse me..tumhara matlab kya hai..haan!..abhi tum mere saath aaye ho..to yeh sab faltu hai..main faltu hoon?!..

Maan: tum kya sunna pasand karo gee..sach ya jhoot?!

Geet's jaw dropped to the ground: haw..kya bola tumne..tumhara matlab main faltu hoon..main jaa rahee hoon!..she got up and began to leave

Maan quickly stopped her by holding her hand: aray yaar..icecream to khalo..warna paise waste honge..aur icecream bhi..he sed wid a smirk on his face..

Geet was really angry now.."Maan..shut up..leave my hand..main jaa rahee hoon!

Maan: aray yaar..i was kidding..tum bhi to mujhe tung kartee ho..so maine badla le liya!..chalo betho..

Geet realized every1 was looking at them..she quietly sat back..widout creating any scene anymore

Maan: haan to batao kya bol raheen thee tum!

Geet: kuch nahi!..she replied

A boy brought 2 large ice cream cups overflowing wid pink strawberry ice cream..wid a little piece of cherry on the top and put it infront of maan and geet..Maan started enjoying the icecream..

Geet was sitting silent..looking at Maan having his icecream..

Maan looked at Geet: dekho apni ice cream khalo..warna meri khatam hone k baad tumhari ki baari hai..Geet hurriedly took her cup and started eating it..

Maan smiled.."tum na sach main akrhoo ho" she sed..

Maan: excuse me..main tum ko yahan ice cream khila raha hoon..aur tum..

Geet chuckled: ..aur main kya..haan..akrhoo he to ho tum..main tumhara wait kar rahee thee..k tum meray liye door kholo gai..just like a gentle man..but main bhool gayee thee..that this man is not gentle..hez an akrhoo man..nahi nahi..akhrhoo Maan..she again chuckled..making fun of him.

Maan: dekho mujhe yeh sab kuch nahi aata ok!..don't expect all this frm me..aur waise bhi..tumko bhi upar waale ne 2 haath diye hain..tumne door khola aura aagayeen..main kholon ya tum..wats the difference..

Geet: ughhh..tum nahi samjho gai..ice cream khao..
