Neil's performance

Abhi's excitement that Mili's engagement is planned as a surprise, his genuine happiness in saying he wishes a happy life for Mili who has suffered so much till now, naughtiness when he has fooled Mili actually about the surprise, energetic excitement when he is dancing to the band-baaja, triumph that finally he has formally brought Mili and Vishal together by putting their hands in each other, impatience when Mili takes her time to put the ring on Vishal's finger, effervescent enthusiasm when he makes everyone dance to "tere naina,tere naina", noticing Mili's mood, approaching her and consoling her, romance when he dances with Simi as well as when she comes to the room at night, bubbling excitement to chitchat with his wife, slight disappointment when she snubs him, quick to participate in giving her a helping hand in the kitchen, teasing Simi calling her professor, saying he is all dried up as a thorn waiting for her, his Why are you leaving so early...Hmmm...Hmmmm????was sweet, getting all romantic with his wife, the way he hits his head on hers when he says she used to be boring till she met him . All this was thoroughly enjoyable.

Next day morning, the affection in his eyes when he puts his hand on Mili's head and the quick change to gleam and love in his eyes when he strokes Simi's face, his care for Simi in telling Mili to advise her sister to get some rest away from houseold chores was extremely good. The sudden surprise at Simi's comment when she says he is spending more time with Mili, his resent ,anger and irritation in the form of tears when he tells Simi how on earth that disgusting thought has entered her mind, his tone advising her to better remove such thoughts from her mind before he returns was really essayed with ease.

Whatever storyline this may be, whatever limitations in the form of dialogues that may be, the expressions of Neil in portraying the scene is simply awesome.
