Shutting the door does not solve problems.

The problems will not go away.

Upon facing problems we realise that they are not as humongous as we thought.

The closing of a door can bring blessed privacy and comfort - the opening, terror. Conversely, the closing of a door can be a sad and final thing - the opening a wonderfully joyous moment.

Closing the door behind neither gives you the strength to strive harder nor does it assure that no problem is coming your way. This is called running away.

However, if we take this in another sense; I believe, being this positive in life does work but to some extent. You assume you left everything behind does not mean you actually have. 😊
