Scene switches to the kids coming out of the bus. The teacher informs them that boys will be staying in the left side of the cottage whilst girls will be staying in the right side of the cottage. She tells them to go to their cottages, freshen up and come back within half an hour. The kids leave. The next scene shows the kids gathered together with the teacher, and the teacher explaining to them about the four days they will spend in the camp. Subodh, Anurag and Molly are chosen as team leaders, who are each told to choose names out of a bowl, telling them who will be in their team. The teacher says that the best-behaved and most-achieving team will receive a prize on behalf of the school. Subodh chooses a piece of paper first, and gets Poromita in his team (With PM in your team: Good luck Subodh 😆). Anurag chooses second and gets Auromita. Molly gets Vaishnavi. Then Subodh gets Taani. He gets happy, but on the other hand, Taani and Anurag look shocked and dejected. They look at each other for a moment before Taani moves over to stand beside Subodh.
In the next scene, Subodh comes over to Anurag and tells him that his team has no chance of winning, boasting that the school's two winners, him and Taani, are in his team. He continues boasting about how they will continue to win all of the activities, and asks Taani to agree with him. Taani tells him to shut up, that what is to happen in the playing field will happen, and that he shouldn't start showing off yet ( That so wiped the smirk off Chipku Subodh's face 😆). The teacher grabs their attention and asks them if they are ready for the first activity, which she announces is 'Tug of War'. Taani and Anurag look happy with the announcement, whilst Subodh does not look too pleased (Because Anu's body fat makes it impossible for him to lose 😉😆). Anurag tells Subodh that today they will see who wins in dreams, and who wins in reality. The kids are outside, ready to begin the activity. Anurag tells his teammates to let him take part alone, as he is enough for all of Subodh's team. Subodh laughs and tells Taani that before, with his team, Anurag had a slight chance of winning, but now Anurag has no chance of winning at all.
Taani looks at the lucky coin which was given to her by Anurag and wishes, from all her heart, for her luck to be passed on to Anurag, and that he wins (How sweet, wishing for his happiness before hers- The perfect wife 😳😍). The tug of war begins and Anurag effortlessly (Seriously, he made it look so easy 🤣) wins, pulling the rope so hard that Subodh and his teammates land on the ground, on their bottoms. Anurag cheers but then looks worried as he realises he dropped Taani on the ground too. Yet she smiles at him, happy for his victory. He rushes to her, checking her arms, asking if she is alright and if she got hurt. She looks at him and says that he won. He gazes at her before helping her up on her feet. He puts his arm around her and helps her walk and get to a seat inside (Such an adorable scene, I LOVED it 😳 I just wish these two would hug 😳. That's what I really want to see ☺️). He checks her arm again and blows on it.
All the while she looks at him, with a smile on her face. Auromita (I think it was her, showed a glimpse 😛) brings a first aid box and Anurag applies cream on Taani's arm. She tells him to smile, as he won. He tells her that in the process of winning, she got hurt, and then continues to tend to her arm. Poromita and Subodh are standing together in some corner of a room with the rest of their group. PM talks to Subodh about how strong Anurag is, and how he took part in the tug of war alone yet still won. Subodh looks annoyed and tells her to shut up; reminding her that Anurag is their competitor and not to be happy over his victory. Anurag gets his trophy and Subodh looks on miffed. The teacher tells them that it is late and that all students must go to their rooms now. Everyone congratulates Anurag before leaving. Only Anurag and Taani are left in the room, and Taani tells him that he made her really proud today. Anurag tells her that this is his first trophy, and that he wishes to dedicate it to somebody. Taani tells him that won't be needed, and that he should keep the trophy to himself.
Anurag tells her that he was not talking about her, and Taani looks surprised. Taani reminds him that he always says that she never gives him credit for anything, yet he never gives her credit himself. She tells him that despite being on the other team she prayed that he would win, but he does not care for their friendship in the slightest. Taani tells him to go give the trophy to whoever he wishes, she doesn't care. He teases her that she is jealous, and that she shouldn't care who it goes to, as he is dedicating it to Laboni Maa. He talks about how Neelu Maa taught her singing, which is why she dedicated her trophy to Neelu Maa, likewise, Laboni Maa taught him to eat, and therefore he was able to win the competition today. Anurag says if Laboni had not fed him and made him this fat he would never have received the trophy. They both laugh. Older Taani's voice (Anupriya Kapoor's voice 😳) plays in the background: She says that they were both very happy that day, but they did not know that the length of our happiness is very short. They did not know that in the next few moments someone would cast an evil eye upon their happiness (Yup, and that someone is Ritesh 😡)
It is the following day and Bimal is shown knocking on a door. Ritesh's mistress opens the door and asks who he is. Without saying a word, Bimal walks into the house. The lady asks what he is doing, and asks how he can walk into her house without even introducing himself. Bimal interrupts and tells her that he knows what has happened to her, as he heard her conversation with Ritesh. He tells her that Ritesh, who she calls Ashutosh, is the cause of her life's distress. He says that she can stop another girl's life being ruined. She looks confused and tells him that she does not understand what he is talking about. Bimal asks her whether she is brave enough to come open about her pregnancy. She walks away and refuses. Bimal stresses that if she cannot come upon in front of everyone, she can at least come open in front of one person. He says he does not know her, and has no right to force her into saying anything. He pleads for her to save another girls life and promises he will make sure her child gets its rights. Scene switches to Shekhar discussing business with Ritesh and four other businessmen.
Bimal and Laboni walk in the house, followed by Ritesh's mistress, who is dressed more decently. Shekhar invites Bimal inside. Ritesh asks himself what Gulabi is doing here. Ananya asks him is he knows her. Bimal apologizes for interrupting Shekhar's meeting. Shekhar dismisses the other businessmen. Bimal tells him that the matter was very important, which is why he came to his home without informing beforehand. Shekhar tells him that this is Bimal's home also, and he doesn't need permission to come there. He then asks him to speak, but Bimal refuses and says that today he won't say a word, today this girl will speak. He says that this girl will reveal Ritesh's true intentions. Ritesh speaks up and says he does not understand what is going on, and what Bimal wishes to prove by bringing Gulabi here. Shekhar urges Bimal to speak. Bimal says this is regarding their daughter's life, therefore despite not wanting to, today he has to speak. He goes and brings Gulabi towards Shekhar and points to her, telling everyone that she is going to be the mother of Ritesh's child. Ritesh shouts 'Bimal Kaka, PLEASE!' and everyone looks on shocked (It was pretty loud, I got shocked too 😆)
Ritesh asks him what he is saying, asking how he can think that way about a brother and sister. Bimal and Shekhar look shocked. Ritesh goes to Gulabi and takes her face in his hands, telling everyone that she is his sister. He tells a sob story about how he met Gulabi when he was struggling with poverty in the big city of Kolkata. He cries about how she gave him love, support and sisterly-love. Bimal argues that he is lying, but Ritesh asks why he would lie. Ritesh repeats that she is his sister, and that she has given him more love than a real sister would. He tells Bimal not to stain such a pure relationship. He turns to Shekhar and cries that he had already proved his innocence, and that he had already faced humiliation, but he cannot bear his sister's humiliation. He goes to Bimal and asks him what he wants, that he should own up to a crime he has not committed? He says fine, and begins crying that he isn't Ritesh, he's Ashutosh, that he is a drunkard, a gambler, is filled with all the bad habits of the world. He says he'll accept it all, but pleads Bimal not to accuse him of such a lowly act. He folds his hands in front of Bimal, but Bimal tells him to stop talking nonsense. Bimal says he heard his conversation with Gulabi, and he knows she is pregnant.
Ritesh says yes, that she is pregnant, and that too before marriage, but the baby inside her is not his. He says the baby belongs to the man his sister loved, but that man took advantage of her and left her. He looks at Shekhar and cries that it was not his sister's fault, she only loved, but that man's deceitfulness turned her love into sin, and therefore she wanted to go through with an abortion. Shekhar looks at Bimal, and Bimal shakes his head. Ritesh spills some more lies about how Gulabi needed money for an abortion, which is why she came to him, and maybe that is when Bimal saw them together. Bimal says fine, even if for a moment he can accept that Gulabi is Ritesh's sister, Ritesh must know where she lives. Gulabi finally speaks and says that she lives in Shakkar Gali. She cries that it is a much defamed place, but a poor girl like her isn't lucky enough to have a good home in a good location. She said she had only one hope, that after marriage she would be able to leave the place and live in a respected locality, but the one who she was to marry deceived and left her.
Gulabi places her hands on Ritesh's arm and calls him Bhaiyya. The whole family looks shocked. Gulabi asks Ritesh to forgive her, as he had to face so much because of her. Bimal looks at Laboni helplessly. Gulabi goes on about how he has already done so much for her and she did not want to create problems for his married life. Gulabi steps towards Shekhar and tells him that Ritesh is a very good man, that he would never be able to find a good man like Ritesh even if he searched the whole world. She tells him to never question Ritesh's character, never to doubt him. Bimal looks on surprised (And disgusted, I bet, like I am 🤢) at how they can act and lie so well. Gulabi says that Ritesh brought her here, and had promised to give her child her rights, yet here she got nothing but disgrace. She runs away crying. Ritesh turns to Bimal and asks why he did all of this, saying that he only had one brother-sister relationship, which he had kept safely. Ritesh says he does not know what enmity Bimal has towards him, but today Bimal has snatched everything from him.
Laboni comes to stand beside Bimal and points a finger at Ritesh, telling Shekhar that he is lying and his tears are false. Shekhar puts his hand up and tells her to stop, and that he doesn't wish to hear anything more. He tells them to leave, that he needs to speak to his family. Neelu is shocked. Laboni cries, and says that they will leave, grabbing Bimal's shoulders and telling him to come (Bimal looks shattered 😭😭😭). Neelu tries to stop them, but Laboni tells her not to. She tells Neelu not to cry, as Neelu heard what Shekhar said, that he wishes to speak to 'his' family. Neelu closes her eyes painfully as Laboni and Bimal leave the house devastated. Shekhar does not look at them. Episode ends on Ritesh's face.
It was an alright episode, the 2 marks cut off is because I just don't like it when evil triumphs over good 😛. I loved the Anurag and Taani scene where she falls over and he gets so concerned, it was so sweet and it made me melt into a puddle 😳. I just loved Devarsh's expressions, and Prachi's smile, they were so cute 😳. I am very disappointed in Shekhar, yes Ritesh is his SIL, but still, he has known Bimal for so long- and it takes something as small as this to cast Bimal out of his family 😡. Especially when he knows Bimal is ill too 😭. Surely friendship should have more trust in it 😭. I guess we all know now this is going to cause things to go sour between the two, thus Anurag and Taani will have to separate 😭. It will be sad to see Bimal and Shekhar separate and then for Shekhar to receive the news of Bimal passing away once they have parted 😭. It probably won't be shown, but it's still pretty upsetting. Anyway, I did like the episode, it was predictable though. I knew the cheap Gulabi would never tell the truth, typical Balaji route 😡. I'm looking forward to the leap now, don't know how ten days will pass, I really hope it will be just ten days, and not more. 😳 I am dying to see Harshad!!
