Hey All,
Finally monday is here🥳But this Tuesday promo is giving me jitters. What if no LTL today😲
Ok onto the topic now. The whole world outside winces over the fact that Nakusha is an ugly servant girl married to a very king-like Dutta Bhau. For Dutta Patil is truly a king - Handsome & Wealthy. But Nakku is not the least bit embarrased by such an union. She not only dared to fall in love with this king but I have lost count just how many times she has openly confessed this love to his face.Where does Nakku draw such confidence from? Is it not from the fact that she is NOT an ugly girl? Deep in her heart she knows she is an "apsara". Men would give up all they love to conquer this beauty. Many a times she has longed to reveal this beauty to Dutta. And even after so much happening she has a small flame of hope somewhere of winning Dutta's love & affection. Now she has immense faith in the almighty we know but don't you feel that she also has a faith in her own beauty? Would she be this much confident of a happy & loving life with her beloved if she was truly an ugly girl? Would she declare her love again & again in such gay abandon then? Being a dusky girl myself I wouldn't want to foist myself on someone ethereal like Dutta. Not that I think Nakku is forcing Dutta to accept her or would use her beauty to win him. I speak only of her courageous confessions & hope. What would Nakku do if that paint on her face was a permanent one?

Interesting topic. You know, I think the whole thing is independent of beauty, from Naku's perspective. She fell in love with Dutta, not Bhao. He opened up a lot to her and she became even more attached and in love with him.

The first time she admitted her love was during his "turbulent" wedding. See Naku does not lie, it's not in her nature to lie when asked for the truth. And her loving Dutta was the truth, and in her mind, why should she deny it? Other people in the room must have thought "who does this girl think she is? look at her...look at Bhao." But Naku has integrity--she trusts her feelings, she guards them, and she nurtures them. I have a lot of respect for that. In her eyes, she does not think of it as the other people do: she knows she loves him, and she will not minimize that love by lying about it. And so, the confidence has nothing to do with her beauty or that Dutta will love her as a result of seeing it. AT THE END OF THE DAY, NAKU RESPECTS, UNDERSTANDS, AND LOVES HERSELF ENOUGH to say it. And I agree--why shouldn't she say it over and over again if that is how she feels?

Well said! I agree completely! Also though Naku maybe ridiculed for even dreaming of someone like Dutta wealthy and handsome but from her point of view she has never wished for anything in return for her love except the happiness of the man she loves. She never dreamt to be his wife/lover. She too feels that she doesnt deserve someone like him and this mind you despite the fact that she knows that she is in reality an apsara so to speak. Every time she has confessed her love the situation has been such that she had nothing to lose or gain. And yes the only time she dreamt of having her feelinsg reciprocated was when she couldnt bear to lose him and the thought of getting him by whatever means came to mind.
