mahi not performing with mishal

hey dont know why but i have a feeling that mishal doesn't perform in such shows..i think he is a little choosy.

i never saw him perform in any show till date..even when he was in lovestory..
looks like he believes in bigger packages.!!

I don't know about his being "choosy", but you've got a point. I'd say he's being smart. Please nobody take offense, but honestly, after a few of these channel-sponsored shows and awards shows, I feel like I'm watching buffoons or animals that dance at the sound of the whistle, and bang those damn cymbals together! Ouch!

Mishal--unless you have to, please avoid this human circus...stick to hosting, talking, being charming...I personally have nothing against Mahi and perhaps she is making the best decisions she needs to for her career and as a woman (because there are different demands on women vs men in the business), but she is all over the place--videos, dances, blah..blah...blah. Does she show up at store openings too?

But I think Mishal and Mahi's aims are different anyway with regards to their career, and as usual, I could be wrong in my interpretation. It may even be unfair, and I apologize if that is what it is. But Mishal is focused on being an actor, Mahi on becoming a celebrity. Two very different things.

I agree about these types of shows. They usually are like a circus and such brain mush television. A lot of it seems like self-glorification at the risk of sounding blunt. Most of the time it's the channel promoting its own shows and pairs which are already popular as it is - for their on screen character and work. MR seems like he would rather do quality work and leave it at that. Big Money is an actual show and was beneficial to a charity so his participating there was great as it's altogether a different story. Not the case with this type of stuff. Of course we could be wrong and may be it's still doctor's orders but I'd like to place my money on he would just rather remain on screen in character on quality tv and leave it at that. His work will speak for itself and it clearly does.

MR is defo choosy. Thats pretty obvious from the fact that he decided to wait to get a good role rather than jump into any role after Love Story. As for MV and others I guess apart from fame everyone's here for the moolah too. And these shows do bring in moolah for the actors. MR seems to loaded...or atleast his dad is. Thats why he has a sea facing apt in Mumbai. So I guess he neednt really do anything purely money oriented.
Coming to if he should do such stage shows or not I agree...nothing great abt them. they simply promote the channnels current stars. out of sight is out of mind for the channels. for the same reason i dont care fior singing/dancing reality shows. but yes I wud love to see him host. though i am not sure how good a host he will be.

well-said ksh! But I don't think that he is not doing these shows as his dad is loaded. e himself has a company of his own which is quite profitable ... remember PHD.
Moreover everyone has their own perspective for doing this.
I am sure he will make a good host. He has a superb comic timing and also a particular edge to his voice.

Nelu...for me MR dancing-singing will spoil his image as Dutta Bhau. So I guess I am not really keen to see him doing that. MV/Naku is fine as in her real self Naku is shown to be bubbly. Though MR's personality is very different from DSP but I feel hosting is ok.

I can see him pulling off a Sach Ka Samna type stint. His hosting would be a different style then RK but still one equally worth appreciating.
