I once placed my pic in IF, but was informed by the moderator that it is not recommended in IF. However, that was before Bidaai ... perhaps nearabout the first time ever I visited IF... probably it was raj5000 (ex -DM moderator) who told me this.

I would gladly put my pic here ... but the moderators themselves dont encourage "personal information on IF" ... I wonder what jyoti thinks about it.

Personally I share my pic anywhere I find real people involved in discussion (its totally OK in popular European forums like Polishforums.com) ... I dont have any issues there ... yet to meet anyone who can attack my security on net 🤣

HUh is that really..coz i have seen ..some people put their pic in DP but no1 told them to remove it😕

But I didnt put my pic in display back then ... I clearly remember I put my pic RIGHT ON THE THREAD ... in a post. Later also asked another person to put the pic aswell ... However, this was not entertained by raj (do you know him?)...

I dont know how people will know whose pic you have placed in the display, as long as you dont mention the fact that it is your pic. Display pics are very vague, unless you clearly mention or it becomes the NORM of the forums, its not usual that we will perceive that pic as the pic of the poster.

In IF, the norm seems to be "NO PERSONAL PIC IN DISPLAY" ... so even if someone puts it there ... its more difficult to guess without being indicated.

Get it? =) ...
