I was listening to "Second Chance" by Trisha Yearwood and it me that this song so perfectly describes Siddhant and Riddhima, their story, their journey.
What do you do when love comes along
And offers your heart a chance to move on
With no guarantees, no safety net
You trust what you feel, you take that first step
Riddhima was a broken woman when Siddhant took her life by storm. Where she was shattered, he mended her, where she didn't believe in life, in love, and in herself, he made her believe in all those things and most importantly, he made her believe in them. He showed her that it was possible to love again, laugh again, live again. He made Riddhima trust herself, and trust him, he made her take that first step.

And once Riddhima took that first step, there was no looking back. When she hesitated, he took her hand and held on. When her world looked completely broken and beyond repair, he took it and mended it brick by brick. He literally blew life back into her, he became not only her second chance at love, he became her second life, her entire world.

Before Siddhant came along, Riddhima was breathing, she was surviving, but not really living, She was cold, she was hard, and she was broken. Siddhant came into her life, smoothed away all her jagged edges bit by bit, till the days didn't seem so dark to her, till life didn't mean just hanging on. He lit up her life like sunshine, sometimes warm and mellow, and oh-so gentle, sometimes harsh and angry and scorching. But most importantly, like the sun, he overshadowed all the grief, the hurt and the pain, till she was basking in the golden sunshine of happiness and hope once more.

"Just when you think love is a distant dream", and boy, was it distant for these two. Its amazing how they took steps towards each other till it wasn't so distant anymore. They laughed, cried, screamed, fought with each other, but most importantly, they fought for each other. Theirs has been the most astonishing journey of courage, faith, hope and love. When their second chance at love, at life came along, they took it, treasured it, and cherished it. And now, when they're together, they make such a beautiful picture of peace, contentment, and happiness, that its difficult to imagine that they were ever apart from each other. Truly destiny's children. I still can't believe their wounded fairytale healed so beautifully.
