nice topic! I think guys do if, but very rarely...even in the US single moms have a hard time finding boyfriends and then husbands b/c 1st off some men are afraid of commitment and children in the relationship means the woman is looking for something long-time and it's not a fling. Also, women want men who will love their children like their own...and men like that are rare. But Maan represents all those men who are mature, secure in life, understanding, helpful, and truly caring!!! Maan doesn't care what the world thinks...as long he knows he's right he does what he wants...and that scenario also exists in the world!!! I can't speak about how taboo it still is in India..i would assume in metro places...ppl are to busy to care, but in maybe rural areas ppl are still a bit judgmental!

Nice post I must say. In reference to your question, it quite frankly depends in which country one resides in. Now I don't know how society will react in India. But here in Australia - people are more laid back and less judgmental. An unmarried mother would not be frowned upon as it is common here. In fact I used to attend a high school in which promoted pregnant women to study in the school. But that's the western society.

When it comes to my cultural and national society - that is the afghan society. A girl must be pure and virginal before marriage. If a girl is found to not be one and is unmarried - then she is generally frowned upon and called names. However if the situation is like Geets then of course she will be accepted by the community. She will also find someone who will love her and marry her. There have been many cases where an afghan guy has fallen in love with the girl and without caring about her lack of virginity - still married her. I salute people with such mentalities!

These days women over 40 with children even find someone to love them. So its not impossible 😊.

And I believe that one should love someone for who they are. And not there physical condition.

The Mentality of People has to Change a lot.....Otherwise Girls Like GEET will be always looked on upon with a Evil Eye😡

In this century, GOD knows the truth! And sooo it will always lead to good! If the girl is innocent which she is than yes it is not her fault. As to modern day thinking . . . I think that the world should be accepting of such a situation.
