How Many more surnames now🤔, Already we are awarded with three

Basu

Benerjee

Chatterjee

Taani was introduced as Bsu thn junior as benerjee and Shekhrar renamed her as Chatterjee

So how many more to go..............

Creatives are using trial n error method🤓 Whjich will sound rhyming with name, will name her that🤔

So whats your take on three surnames🤔

Reason- Taani's name was Taani banerjee. Then she was married with Anuraag Ganguly. But I think she will marry some basu after grown up.

Any Bengalis here? Please tell me if Bannerjee and Chatterjee mean the same in Bengali culture....😃

I'm not Bengali...but both mean different things...the Ban- and Chatto- bits are actually the names of villages which indicate where that family is from. Banerjee and Chatterjee are in fact anglicized versions of Bandopadhyay and Chattopadhyay...that's like 'teacher (upadhyaya) from the village of so-and-so, I think. In the case of the former it's Bandoghat...not sure about which village the other one refers to...but they definitely don't mean the same thing!

But Lizzy then why they called her benerjee in an earlier episode? 🤣

On a serious note just how difficult is it for the writer to memorize the name of his/her lead characters? I mean if they can't remeber they can take printouts and paste them on the sets so that no one makes a mistake 🤔
