What did they mean she was in love with him and dooriyan honewala hai? She has just extended a friendship that too with restrictions (no holding hands allowed here). I wouldn't call Krishna's talk to lawyer a dhumki. He just told him to go in and do his job like he always does with everyone. He didn't single this guy out by any means.

Prof. was always the chai lover so would have joined the lawyer had he been out of self-imposed imprisonment. Maybe another day when lawyer and Arushi are making eyes at each other, he'll invite lawyer to have tea with him. Sharing a cup of chai with Prof. is a must if a guy wants to become damadh of the house. Prof. shared half of his chai with Krishna when the family had gone to the Sangam for pooja.
