no, he doesn't, he stops himself. she's insulting his family and especially bebe and says that bebe shouldn't be excited or else she might die.

he stopped himself unfortunately. she says that if he had slapped her he would never be able to see her face again. that was more of a treat then a threat!... of course she was pretending to be "bad" but still, a good thought nonetheless...
