And the funny thing is that one minute the warden is listening to the story the next minute she isnt! When taani took Onu to the auditorium the warden had no clue what was going on! And why on earth would taani bring her to the place to show her the bench! Does the warden really care that much?

Oh i think i figured why warden is so keen in hearing taani's story that she forgot all about Onu ... she too wants them to grow up and find out what made Onu go mad or may be she wants to know how he lost the weight so that she could loose her own?
