Ruturaj & Vaishnavi (9.0) --> Whoa this was a full out energetic performance. I know about the Lindy Hop, and have done it a bit, and let me tell you, it is SOOO tiring!! I was getting tired watching them dance. Rutu was good, but Vaishnavi was AMAZING! I think she redeemed herself from yesterday. There was that one stunt she fell on, but it's okay because she continued. Overall, it was SO entertaining to watch, and what a great song selection. It gave it that extra boost of energy! Well done.
Manoj & Vrush (9.15) --> This is purely Manoj's weekend! He completely out shined Vrushali. She actually messed up a little bit which was so surprising! But who cares, this performance was more about Manoj and he killed it! The 9.15 is only for Manoj for his beautiful and perfect moment. The few mess ups took away from the coordination so I can't give it a 10. I think Manoj is at his best because now he has Mayu/Vrush's undivided attention. Well done!
Atul & Papiya (9.15) --> I loved this performance! For the FIRST TIME, I couldn't get my eyes off Papiya. This was probably her BEST duet performance. She out shined Atul completely. Her movements were so clean, clear, crisp and in character. Atul today was not his best. He seemed less energetic and a little lost at times. Papiya held this performance up. Overall, I loved this performance! Well done!
Jeetu & Vaishu (9.25) --> This is my favorite performance so far. I have seen this dance form before at a Russian wedding I went to. It was really nice, only thing, I couldn't understand the music so it took me a while to get into it, but when i did, I thoroughly enjoyed it. So, now, watching Jeetu and Vaishu do this dance form with a song i understand, it was just such a pleasure to watch. This is a really risky dance form to do because it is hard to capture the audience due to its authenticity, however, I was so involved in their dance and they both were just so superb!!! Jeetu is just too amazing! I loved his expressions and perfect posture of a Russian dancer. Vaishnavi was very good too, but i agree that Jeetu was a notch better. Overall, I loved it! Great job!
Vatsal & Ammu (9.0) --> Man, all the performances today are just so good! I had such a great time watching this performance. It was so much fun, and it was perfectly in its element. The dragon portion was superb. It's so hard to dance with the dragon, and they both did it so easily and wonderfully. I wish they could have done more with the dragon, but of course they couldn't otherwise they wouldn't be able to do any floor dancing which we obviously need to see. Vatsal was SO good! I loved his expressions, and the way he stayed in that posture and performed was graceful! Well done!!!
Jai (10.0) --> HE IS SO DARN GOOD!! I just LOVE watching Jai dance. He is so clean and his lines are so beautiful. The entire performance from beginning to end was mesmerizing. After that stunt, he fell, but I loved the way he handled it and just continued as soon as he could. That is a sign of a great performer! =)
Mayuresh & Vrushali (9.0) --> Hmmmm I don't know how to start. Okay so, I think Terrance's first expression kind of gave it away, that it was not what he expected, nor was it what I expected. Yes, it was very beautiful and smooth, however, I found some portions messy and uncoordinated. The lifts were beautiful, but again, a little shaky. The end was scary! I can't believe Mayuresh didn't catch Vrush. Thank god he sort of got her in time before she could get really hurt. That could have been a bad fall! Anyway, Terrance didn't give this a "chumeshwari" performance, and I completely support him. They definitely bloomed because of Terrance, but I expected a little more from them. Overall, beautiful!
TERRANCE (10000) --> I LOVE THIS GUY! He is the best contemporary dancer/choreographer out there, and he definitely makes me proud to say that he is an INDIAN and he is just SUPERB! I will not be surprised if he gets the chance to go on So You Think You Can Dance and choreograph a contemporary routine there. I wish he wouldn't stop! I wanted to see more and more and more. This is a passionate dancer, and I wish him the best of luck. P.S. When he spoke at the end, I almost had tears in my eyes. I didn't know of Terrance or Geeta until DID, and now we all know them, and I just love how he appreciates the chance he was given. GO TERRANCE!!! 👏
