Because, he is an established singer and he proved himself for past n years. i obeserved many people compared sonu with amey. even if amey wins this contest...it is not neccessary that he will be a hit or success in bollywood as many talented singers couldnt come up. that world is completely different. same case for karunya also...everybody says he is very gud singer but we can only hope n wish that he will be a success.
so, in order to match sonu one has to be talented(default) + charming + handsome + LUCKY. i dont think we can find one in coming years. that is y i feel one shouldnt compare sonu with anybody.
