Acp- In the 90's, a very powerful detective entered the tv screen on sony channel. As srikant patkar and then as acp pradyuman, he was an intelligent cid head. His aura and charm lay in his skills, people-handling, dealing with situations and emotions. His wife was seen perhaps only twice. His son had two avatars- the innocent rajiv and the avenging nakul. Since the 90's he had various looks, especially ever-changing hair colour. Recently he has taken to sudden bouts of temper and his calmness is rarely seen. His facial expression has also undergone a sea change. But he is the only ACP PRADYUMAN for us.
Abhijeet- Landing up on the screen as a traumatised officer-turned angry young man, abhijeet had become a cid officer in the late 90's. his memory loss became a game for criminals who conspired now and then against him. effective and efficient, he moved ahead with a new identity, and adopted cid as his mission in life. Throughout he underwent transitions and recently he has become a strong yet wonderful person, friend, officer, senior, junior, aide etc. he always was. He looked beyond. His dosti with daya went from sir-aap to abhijeet sir-aap to abhijeet-aap to abhijeet-tum to abhi-tum. He doesnt remember anything of his life before cid, yet he recognizes friends like viren. He is the one and only SENIOR INSPECTOR ABHIJEET for us.
Daya- When he first appeared, much much before abhi, he looked gentle, thin and quiet. His life is as mysterious as abhijeet's. too many brothers, sisters with even a mention of a father. yet he is an orphan. From the shy extra he slowly opened up as an important member of the team. cid is his mission in life and abhi is his saathi, his inspiration, his partner, his means of survival. He slowly gained and lost and gained weight, yet he didnt change. quiet, emotional, sensitive he is also aggressive when needed, a friend in need and everyone's confidante. his special power is to break open doors. He is the only SENIOR INSPECTOR DAYA for us.
Asha- a character that evolved from her first ever episode. little is known of her yet everyone knows her. dynamic, positive, emotional, sensitive, strong, optimistic, strong-willed, determined etc, the perfect female cop soon became the partner of the duo, reaching a level no one till now has touched. her very presence is magic by itself. she will and always will be the only INSPECTOR ASHA for us
Freddy- He was one of the quietest yet hard-working extras named michael. He always worked to please others, sometimes een applied brains along with his partner sudhakar. He respected daya and was sometimes scared of acp and abhijeet. bt he like a loyal officer loved the trio equally. Slowly he transformed into the jovial good hearted freddy who nurtured dreams of being promoted for having worked for years. But he is always the same subinspector. Recently he has become a bit of a joke among the others.. but he is always adorable and never shifts his loyalties. He is the only SUB-INSPECTOR FREDERICKS who will always be INSPECTOR FREDDY for us.
Sudhakar- The quietest extra ever who always worked more and spoke less except in a few cases. Together with freddy, he always hung around to help out his seniors. He will always be the SUB-INSPECTOR SUDHAKAR for us.

Aditi- The delicate looking mentally strong female cop first came as someone capable of uncovering some truth. She exposed abhijeet but soon even tried her best to prove him innocent. dedicated and loyal, aditi was emotional. her sister and fiance were suspects but she always took law before family. she became a martyr and acp, abhijeet and daya and freddy were upset to lose her. a brave hearted girl, she always made her duty first. she was always the only SUB-INSPECTOR ADITI for us.
