Am I disappointed with Maan's actions since he realized that he's changed? yes a little bit..but am I surprised with his actions? No, not at all...
Maan is a very logical human being. A perfectionist. Sticks to his routines in life. Everything in his life is strictly regulated and controlled..He thinks with his head, does not allow emotions to cloud his thinking..A guy like that is not very adventurous. He doesn't take risks (risks involve using heart, which he doesnt tend to do). He fears the unknown (thinking logically with his brain). Rejects change. Furthermore, Maan has a very strong personality, meaning he's an extremist in the above qualities I mentioned. Plus ego.For a guy like that, when something like LOVE happens, or not even actual LOVE..but some 'feelings' that is not part of his normal routined life, it gets out of control. He has no idea how to deal with these new feelings..And as such, he hates those new 'feelings.' And the best way he 'thinks' to deal with them is to step away from the source of change, come hell or high water. However, its not that easy..Someone mentioned that Maan was like a trapped animal in the elevator..And that's exactly what he is feeling like at the moment, even out of the elevator..These 'new feelings' are cornering/surrounding/attacking him on all fronts and he, in his uncontrollable anguish, is responding by lashing out, exactly how a trapped animal would be.
Also, Geet has given him a good shake, startling him out of his controlled, routine sphere. Now he is deathly AFRAID! There is no other word to describe it. He is, in simple terms, scared witless. Now everything he is doing stems from that fear. That's why he wants to get away from her. However, his ego prevents him from admitting to that fear. That's why he is using excuses like professionalism to cover up his shortcomings (or at least what he views as his shortcomings).
Trust..another one of his qualities that Geet has changed. Before Geet, Maan used to be able to trust himself, depend on his mind to guide him to his goals. Now, he doesn't trust himself and his actions when it comes to Geet. His body and mind are in total discord when it comes to her. Thats why he doesn't want her around because he just might get lost in the moment.
Now we all know Maan as someone who'd do anything to achieve his goals. So right now, all he wants is to have geet away from him. Losing his self control, being scared witless and distrust in himself are all good enough reasons for him to have her gone from him. So, he will attempt all the ways available to him in order to achieve that goal. Hence his behaviour to Geet.
And we must remember, he is still using his head. And the moment he starts using his heart, nothing could halt the tsunami that is awaiting Geet😳.
So girls, be a little patient. And remember, he is a guy. Guys are usually known for coming up with the weirdest things to justify themselves and their actions😆. And usually they are real cowards ( lol guys, if there are any reading this, don't take offense) when it comes to matters of the heart.
