Article: Shraddha & Karan get divorced on Monday

Shraddha, till date, had chosen to keep quiet about her estrangement. Last year the news leaked out that Karan was dating his choreographer Nicole Alvarez on the sets of a dance reality show. Shraddha admits that the incident shattered her but she tried her best to save her marriage.

"I wouldn't judge it as a setback. May be, in the long run, everything happens for the best. A marriage breaking up is a sad episode. I had tried everything under the sun to not let this happen.

But since that didn't work, I have picked myself up and I am glad to have bounced back," she says, adding, "Despite all (my) efforts it didn't work. I don't want to break my head or break the other person's head about why it happened to me.

I would rather take a step back and think what I can do about it. I am not the kind of person to think what happened to me was right or wrong. Who am I to judge who is right and who is wrong? I was really sad and I was really hurt. But there's no point in hitting back."

Shraddha says that she is busy with her design line and the few acting assignments. "I am playing a rape victim in a TV serial that portrays real life crime incidents.

There are a few other assignments. I am more excited about my design line which has taken up most of my life. This is my prime focus now," she ends.
