"I remember waiting in the producers offices as one of the strugglers, and I would hate the fact that they would make us wait for 4-5 hours. At times, people would be made to wait for hours and then be told, 'come tomorrow'! I found that ridiculous. And now everything has happened so quickly, from being jobless in January to being now one of the most popular faces on television, things have yet got to sink in my mind. (smiles) I was recently driving in the Bandra-Worli sea link and the havaldar stops me for talking on my phone. Not having a license on me, I was expecting a nice long encounter there. As soon as I rolled down the window, he actually shouted, 'Dutta Bhau!' and spoke to me so nicely saying how his family watched the show everyday and asked for a picture after which he actually apologized to me to having me stopped. I think that's when I realized the love people are showering upon me. The wish which tops my wish list as an actor would be to have a love making scene with Jennifer Lopez. (smiles) I would also love to work with Aamna Shariff and Ayesha Takia. From the actors, I desire to be like Aamir Khan one day. I look up to Rajeev Khandelwal as well; he's dedicated, sincere and has got into movies which even I want to one day. By the way, in my opinion, taking care of his/her health has become one of the biggest issues for actors these days. The timings are so bad and the day we get an off also we can't even get out as we are so drained out. We start looking horrible and then people start commenting 'screen pe accha dikhta hai per asliyat mein kachra lagta hai' (laughs). But it's really not our fault. Anyways, if you want to ask me what I want to do in future, I want to have hotels, restaurants, and resorts of my own. I have strong inclination towards the hotel industry and want to do something big in it."

In this industry, if you have a similar background, you have so many options. But if you don't, thenyou have to work really hard. Even I had to! But I never dreamt of being an actress, if not actress I would have been a Air Hostess now. It's all happened by chance. I actually started modelling at the age of 16. After modelling, I didn't want to leave this industry half way; I wanted to succeed in it. I did some music videos and south films. When i came to Mumbai one director told me, 'Koi bhi uthke aa jaata hai actress banne ke liye'. But I am a fighter, wasn't going to get de-motivated. I continued my journey and now thankfully doing some good work on television. I look up to actresses like Smriti Irani and Katrina Kaif; I would also love to work with Jay Bhanushali and Ranbir Kapoor. I would love to do films in the future, but yes, I would like to be a politician one day.
