Give privacy to 13 year old 'husband and wife'? That's sick to the core. They are still kids. They don't understand their own feelings. First they should never have been married at such tender age. Second, since they are married (because of their elders' mistake) they should not be thrown together before they understand the seriousness and consequences of their own actions. The motto of BV is to condemn the age old practises like child marraiges. It is only fair that they show each and every aspect of this evil practise. I liked the epi. The way they showed jagya peeping and Sumitra getting worried is just natural.
Hats off to BV Team!

Well said, Monali, though of course zaraiqs IS really laughing more or less at the irony of marrying these children off when they are too young to bear the responsibilities of pregnancy and parenthood...that aside, we're talking about forcing two kids to grow up before their time. Looking back, the many children who go through marriage and parenthood like Anandi and Jagiya will not be able to honestly say that they honestly enjoyed their childhood days, because the responsibilities dumped on them were too confusing to handle. Maasa's wish for Anandi to enter motherhood possibly springs from her own experiences -- she must have been forced to have children early the same way! But the fact that it's done hardly makes it right.

You are right Lizzy (if I may call you so, Elizabeth Darcy Smile). But I take the sentences at face value. Even If it was supposed to be ironic, the meaning it conveyed was not so good. Anyways, no hard feelings Smile

Point noted, and a good point at that 😊 You were quite right about the kind of effect it might have on the child characters within the plot, and on kids who ARE going through this kind of confusion even now. Look at Dadisa, Maasa, Teepri, Sugna -- all of these were women who had to experience womanhood before even knowing the meaning of the word! All of them in their own ways are messed up because they had to start learning too much too early.
What's so hard hitting about this episode is the utter violation of a childhood that a practice like child-marriage can inflict on people. Can we blame Jagiya for buying Anandi those clothes and spying on her when he has no one to bother telling him that what he is doing is wrong? And legally as her husband, he even would be seen as having a right to it, and to much more! 😕 That screams 'ick!' to me.

Arre, that was seriously an amazing episode to watch. It went like this.

Anandi is frightened seeing something....Sumitra tells her this happens to every girl at this age (I love her in this 👏 ).....She tells anandi not to do ne work. So She sits with her books and is about to start studying. Dadisa sees this and gets pissed off and sends Anandi to make Achar in the terrace. When Anandi is preparing Achar, Sumitra sees this and is petrified. She tells Dadisa that she has periods and Dadisa throws away the Achar she is making saying it is Ashudh and Gehna cannot have it and it wud be dangerous for the baby inside her. Dadisa then goes to take a bath. Anandi doesnt understand nething of exactly wat is happening to her....Poor soul. I jus love her to the core 👏

I just hope bhairo talks to jagya bout it... Jaldi se... Otherwise dadisa ki mann ki kaamna poori ho jayegi 😆
