Love them, hate them, but you can't ignore 'Pavitra Rishta'. This Balaji daily, that angered fans over their current track, has reclaimed the top spot after a gap of three weeks. This was expected as last week the Zee TV show missed the top spot by just a margin of 0.1 to rival 'Bidaai'. Fans had expressed disappointment with the divorce of Manav and Archana, and were really livid with the guy marrying his brother's widow Shravani. The show has since taken a one-year leap, and it looks like their tempers have soothed and the viewers returning to the show again. As per the latest TAM rating, 'Pavitra Rishta' is the top rated show with a peak TVR of 6.5 on Monday, July 7. It dropped to 6.0 and 5.8 on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, before rising up to 6.1 on Thursday, and finally rounding off the week with a 6.0 TVR on Friday. The show occupies the top five spots. Three weeks back, 'Pavitra Rishta' had lost the number one spot to 'Bidaai' and dropped to number 17. The roles have been reversed with 'Bidaai' now dropping from number one to number 17. This Rajan Shahi show fetched a peak TVR of 4.5. Spellbound production's 'Pratigya' (5.2) is the new leader on Star Plus followed by Shahi's 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' (5.1). After experiencing some lows in the last month, Zee TV (265) has gained 37 GRPs from last week to beat Colors (255) for the second spot. Most of Zee's other show observed a gain in their average TVR. However, the channel hugely profited from the weekend telecast of Gold Awards that fetched a TVR of 3.2 over the duration of three hours. --Mayur Lookhar/TellyCafe.com |
