She is barely out of her teens, madly in love with her boyfriend and already a hotshot starlet. Life has been so good for Ayesha Takia. But the latest buzz we hear about the bubbly actress is that she's quitting films for marriage.
Is that the reason, she opted out of Reema Kagti's film Honeymoon Travels Pvt Limited at the eleventh hour?
When we tried to check the facts with her father Nishit Takia, he strongly denied the rumours and said, "Why should she sacrifice her career for something that can wait? She is just 20 and her career is rocking. There is no way that she will quit right now."
But he also reveals a sweet incident when Ayesha actually received a marriage proposal from one of her young fan, who seemed too young to marry at 12.
According to him: "The young lad sent his pictures to Ayesha and kept sending letters asking her to reply to his proposal."
"The boy also claimed that he would allow Ayesha to continue doing films even after marriage," adds Takia senior with a smile.
We hear that Ayesha found this entire episode extremely sweet and adorable but she is no mood to relent. So the hope still floats for the poor guy...
About the 'Honeymoon' fiasco he says, "Ayesha never signed the film, she was only discussing it. However, she has decided to go ahead with Nagesh Kukunoor's Aashayien and would not be able to give dates to both films simultaneously and hence opted out of the film. "
