Khaty Bhai - in coma

Thank you for all your prayers and support for Khaty Bhai.

I am sad to announce that unfortunately he is now in coma and his brother Mashood wanted me to inform all his friends and well wishers that this time he may not come back again. Already he has lost so much weight and has been bed ridden.He has been dependent on oxygen tanks as his lungs too are not strong ( apart from his heart where the problem arose). His breathing too is very weak and the docs can only shake their heads. they had sometime back indicated that he had about 6 months. ( Of course I can never accept such negativity as docs are wrong sometimes).

Only over a week back as I was online with him when he suddenly complained of severe pain and asked for medical attention. He was rushed into emergency.

A day before all this happened Khaty Bhai wanted to say sorry to everyone that he may not be able to pull through and that his time was limited. He was in constant pain throughout the body too.

I told his brother that even if there is 1% chance and hope let us not give up yet. But it has been very difficult on the family too.

Khaty Bhai is a great shayari writer and was also doing social work (eventhough his health was poor). He had made plans to travel and help where he could.

As an individual the was a very accomplished tabla player (professional standard) , a great mathmathician and a super Accountant.

We are fortunate to have met such a great indiviual of sterling character.
