Movies like Page 3, Mr.& Mrs.Iyer...etc in the parallel cinema are the only good developments in Hindi Cinema..

Though some mainstream Indian Hindi movies like Veer - Zaara are good too..

otherwise the standard of Hindi cinema is falling...

Vulgarity has substituted good story and screenplay.. ( I am not even going to write examples here ..)

the same old stories are repeated again and again..with the same old ghiza pita storyline getting a so called modern look which is actually laced with vulgarity.

Extramartial affairs and skin show (I dunno why they have costume designers in movies these days!!) seem to be the flavor of the week..

While some people may say that Hindi movies have finally grown up and blah blah blah.. and that they have become mature...

It is not so.. bcoz living in a multicultural society here i know how much a country's movies reflect on its culture...

I have had so many people of other nationalities come to me and ask about our culture after watching Indian Movies..

but the censors are also to blame...

we should have a rating system based according to the Indian audience's needs....Only then can some kind of control be exercised on the viewing of movies.
