to start off with i'm not directing this at you or anyone, it just got me thinking as there seems to be a lot of you with this opinion and i just can't understand...

why everyone thinks that bandini is only good with old DM and when sanraj are all in love with no problems, i mean thats all good and well but a show can only go on when there are trials and hardship in characters and how they deal with it, as it shows on any good long running serial.

if DM had a ONS it doesn't make his character tanished, it just shows that he's made a very big mistake and that's life, people make mistakes like cheating on their partner.

and cmon its not like he was not that amazing to begin with, i mean he couldn't really handle his kids before santu came in his life and when she went to jail, yet he claims to be all righteous and all 'im dharamraj mahiyavanshi' (by the way, what does he keep saying that? he sounds so pretentious, like he's above everyone, when hes made more mistakes than i can think of) and lets not forget how he treated santu (why does she keep calling DM malik? and she can act a bit too perfect at times with her idea of selflessness, she really needs to slap moti ben or just be a bit selfish) before like it was her fault when it was his choice to marry her 😡

but some of you have said you would not watch the show if DM did cheat, i think some of you are either just too much in love with ronit/sanraj on a good day/ DM's before days when he acted like he was king of the jungle!

the show isnt even about him, its about santu's life (she is the bandini afterall!) and the people in her life, one of which is DM, but apparently without him, the show sucks, hes one of the best actors on tv but a good show shouldn't suck because an actor isn't on for a few days.

i know its sounds like i'm a DM/ronit hater but i'm not, i'm just saying he's not perfect so why is everyone thinking that because he might have cheated or because he's not the lion he once was, the show's gone bad. no one really wants someone with that kind of temper do they?

the show is ruined because of the unrealistic storylines and awful writing and im pretty sure that this show will end soon which is a shame as it had a lot of potential to be one of the best. haha i really don't know why i watch this anymore, i guess i'm just wishing the show will get better because i like sanraj.

i also hate that the show protrays sanraj like they're teenagers, i mean their romantic moments are really childish don't you think? its sweet but after a while it just becomes sickly, i mean wheres the passion? that again is thanks to the rubbish writing. the only good sanraj romance scene was when they consummated their marriage.

I don't think anybody thought the old DM was perfect - no, let me rephrase, I don't think EVERYBODY thought the old DM was perfect. A very few did but most of us thought he was terrible to some extent or another.

But there were a few things about his character and about all the main character on this show that are supposed to be written in stone. Moti, however evil she might be, is always on the side of her brother no matter what price she has to pay for it. Kaddu is not to be trusted. Shanky is a gentleman. Santu will always forgive. And DM will never knowingly do something that is wrong.

When he was being a horrible father to his kids it was because he had no idea what they needed and when he was being a horrible husband to Santu it was because he didn't think of Santu as his wife. The moment that changed and he began to accept her, he began treating her with respect. It was an odd kind of respect that didn't always sit well with many in the forum including me, but the Sanraj relationship has always worked according to some village dynamic that wouldn't suit most of us here in the real world.

So DM having a ONS is really against his character because he's way too conservative a person to do anything like that. Just as Santu wouldn't dream of it, he wouldn't either. No matter how low each of them got or how sad or lonely, they wouldn't go out and have a drink and pick someone up. The whole thought is laughable. And if DM was drugged into having sex with another woman, then that's just stupid backtracking.

I agree with you however that what is ruining this show is the bad writing. Khemi turning baby killer, Birwa turning mahaan and Santu keeping quiet, Monghi about to have an affair with her niece by marriage's husband, Maulik getting killed while Sandy the useless is running around doing nothing - WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP.
