Hi Friends! I am back with the results of our RaDev Crystal Ball Contest. Members were asked to predict how our dear Dev and Radhika would reunite at the festival of Radha Krishna's Ras Leela and write a one shot describing our lovebirds' first meeting in five years! Well, I have good news and bad news. I will give you the bad news first so that you have something good to look forward to after my bad news. š Well, the bad news is that none of the entries in the RaDev Crystal Ball Contest were winners. š This is not because talent and creativity were lacking, but rather because our CVs have a mind of their own and sometimes we simply cannot predict what they will show! š
Well, the good news is that ALL of our contestants are winners because they were brave enough to attempt writing a short screenplay, and trust me...each entry was first class and much better than the RaDev reunion that was actually shown! You can see for yourself! Posted below for your enjoyment and pleasure are our five contest entries. Please give a huge round of applause to our participants, Avi28, ChinaDollTwo, Evasumi, Radhika5, and RaDev_4Eva! š

Its the night before Rasaleela.....Radh is lying on her bed and thinking of Dev hugging his Pic. thinking that tomorrow her happiness will come back forever. and slowly she doses off to sleep.
It was a new morning for her. Radh wakes with a smile feeling its a new day of her life. The wait was finally finished she was meeting her Dev today. She is awaiting for that moment to come. Radh gets ready and sings Aarthi. Vaishali senses Radh is very happy...."Beta kya bath hai aaj bahut khush lag rahi ho, kithne dino baad tumhare aankon mein yeh kushi dek rahi hun", "maji aaj khus kyun nahi hongi, inthe dino bath hamari zindhi mein khusiyon jo aane wale hai"......"Kya kah rahi ho beta!!!"..."mene kaha tha na Maji Aaj mere kahna mujhe unse milayenge. Aur hamari khushiya hamesha ke liye wapas aa jayengi. Accha maji mujhe dher ho rahi hai mujhe aashirvad dijiye". Radh leaves for work....she opens the door takes a deep breath and feels the fresh air which would bring so much of happiness into her life.
Radh enters the Takurs house and the telephone is ringing, but nobody picks the phone up. Radh comes near and picks the phone and says hello. Hearing the voice Dev stands speechless, as if the voice has mesmerized him......."ji khon, aap khon bol rahe hai"...but before he could answer anything mataramji comes and takes the phone from her asks her to do her work...."hello khon bolat hai"?? Dev doesnt speak...mataramji asks again who is it. Dev gets startled and answers that its him and lets her know that the work is finished and he'll be leaving to Agra soon.....and enquires about the Rasaleela Utsav preparations.......Mataramji says we have taken care of everything and they are just waiting for him to come.
Its the evening...
Radh asks permission to take a leave soon and goes home.....She runs home and opens her wadrobe and takes out Dev's favorite colour saree. She dresses up beautifully and she leaves to the Rasaleela. The utsav was so divine. Melodious Kahna bhajans can be heard. Radh eyes searches for Dev. Radh stands where Rasaleela was going on and gets immensed and with her eyes closed starts dancing. Here Dev comes to Rasaleela with Deepak.....Deepu is running and Dev tries to catch him. Dev without seeing bumps into Radh, Radh looses her balance and Dev holds her tightly from falling down and both comes to standing position. It happens so fast that Radh doesnt notices who is it and then sees slowly its Dev, so close to her. Its so unbeleivable to her....she at once hugs him tightly. Dev loosens his grip but is still holding Radh....Rad puts her face in his neck hugging him tightly...
Dev just stands helpless. he gets bound to the magical feeling when rad hugs him. He doesnot have the power to move Radh away from him. Dev finally brings his hands to her shoulder to let go Radh. Radh with tears of joy, still her head in his chest hugs him more tightly and asks him where he has gone all these years? why he left her alone? Dev is so confused and finally slowly takes a step back holding her shoulders, Radh is shocked to see Dev's reaction that why is her Dev doing this. but Radhs mangalsutra and Dev's locket gets locked. Dev's sight moves from Radh to the locket. He brings his hands slowly and untangles the lockets and looks at Radh. He couldn't move his sight from her, there was some attraction in those eyes. Radev are still staring at one another. Dev is slowly stepping away from her Radh is in big shock and Dev finally vanishes from her sight. Radh gets dizzy and fall down.............Radh slowly opens her eyes. vaishali sitting beside Radh notices that she is awake. Vaishali asks radh how is she feeling now......but Radh who is still restless asks for Dev...."Where is Dev", PF panics!!! "what are u saying chotibahu Dev!!! yahan kaise".....Rads tells them that she saw him...vaishali tries to consoul her but Radh doesnt listern...Vaishali says "beta shayad tumhe koi bhram ho gaya hai"......Rad: "Bhram!!! nahi maji, mein sach kah rahi hun, meine sach mein unhe dekha ahi.....aap sab meri bath par vishwas kyun nahi kar rahe??? mein abhi jaake unhe waapas laungi".....and she leaves for mandhir.....she tries to search Dev again....but she couldnt. she finally breaks and stands infront of Kahna and asks him"kyun kahna kyun...aap tho mujhe unse milane wale the na...sab kah rahe hai ye sab mera bhram hai...magar aap janthe hai yeh mera bhar nahi hai...aap mere saath eisa kaise kar sakthe hai"....Radh gets exausted and again faints.

:Here in Delhi, Abhay is relieved to find the payal and goes back to his hotel room to hear his phone ringing. It's from Mataramji! He frowns and answers worriedly. Mataramji assures him that Deepu
was fine and that she called to tell him to come home because the Minister called and told her that he was in Agra for Raas Leela Utsav and would meet them the day after. Abhay smiles and tells her he would be home on the next flight and that he would like to take Deepu to the RLU.
Radhika is running late as usual, takes her blessings from Vaishali and prays to Kahna saying she is excited but worried if she could take time off from work! Radhika arrives at work and runs into Mataramji... she asked about Deepu. Mataramji tells her he is much better and happy, because his papa is coming home to take him to the Raas Leela Utsav. She tells Radhika that she has the day off too. Radhika hurries into Deepu's room and sees him playing with his toys repeating the Aarti verses she taught him and smiles. She tells him "I see you look fine and happy!" he said excitedly, "my papa is coming and he is taking me to Raas Leela." he says "where is Raas Leela?" Radhika smiles and tells
him the story of Radhe Krishna Milan and that on this special day, every Radha will find her Krishna!He innocently asks "will you also find your Krishna?" Radhika looks nostalgic and says "YES, my KAHNA told me I will find HIM!"
At the Purohit house, Radhika is excited, searching for something nice to wear. She sees this Peacock Blue Saree and thinks... "I'll wear this because this is his favourite colour!" Vaishali tells her to hurry because Birju has borrowed his Boss's car and that they had to leave soon! She hurries out of her room, looking Beautiful, thanks Kahna and touches Dadima's and Vaishali's feet. Dadima asks "where is Dev?" Radhika cheerfully replies that he will meet us at the Raas Leela Utsav.
Abhay is all dressed in Red Kurta pajama, standing in front of the mirror combing his hair... He frowns and wonders why he is so excited? He checks to see if he has the payal, looks at it and
thinks if he would meet the owner of the payal today! Kanika walks in the room and tells him " you look good today". He tells her ' chaalyay' and walks out of the room.
The Purohit family arrives at the Utsav and admires the beautiful decorated Idols and and tents and surrounding areas and both Dadima and Vaishali remarks how beautifully decorated everything looked and wondered who organized this? Radhika somehow gets
separated and looks around frantically, but gets distracted when she hears her favourite Raas Leela song. She follows the music and comes before Lord Krishna's Idols. In the meanwhile, Abhay gets separated from his family and seems to be in a trance. He also follows the music into the temple. He grabs the jhoola at the same time Radhika does, swings it for a while together.. Not realizing what they were doing. Pandit says next and Radhika walks away in a daze and asks "Kahna when will I get to see him?" She hears the song Morey Kahna and starts dancing. She sees Kahna smiling and then the spell is broken... she turns and sees DEV. He too had followed her, enchanted by her, and smiles at her! They both gaze into each other's eyes! She is overwhelmed and fight back tears, and was going to say something to him, but then she hears a little voice saying "papa, woh mera Maasi hai!.". She stops in her tracks, look at Dev, he looks at her smilingly and says "Thanks for taking good care of my son!". Radhika is in shock to see both Kanika and Deepu with Dev, backs away from them and takes off running! She stumbles out of the temple,
finds a secluded place, falls on her knees and throws up! She holds her Mangalsutra and cries inconsolably... heartwrenching cries! She looks up to the Heavens and says "KUE KANHA
KUE MUJAY YEH DIN DIKHAYA?" Abhay is bewildered and wonders why she took off without saying anything!

:Radhika is in 7th heaven. Today being the day of Rasleela the day her life will come back to her.. Her feet are not touching the ground.. Her heart has already flown to the temple looking for him.. Oh there is a brook of bubbling joy in her heart' there is a new spring in her steps. Her Kanha has promised to give him back her beloved after 5 agonizing years of separation. She with her family approaches the Kanha temple. Her eyes are looking for her husband' Her heart is yearning for that tender look from her beloved. She is yearning for that mischievous adorable smile. Her life has stopped to breathe five years back and now her heart only wants to beat on his rhythm. She sends silent prayers to Kanha please give him back to me. I just cannot live without him anymore, Kanha do not tease me just bring him back.
The Bhajans starts at the temple.. Kanha Deewani could not contain herself.. She listens to the songs and softly claps her hands. But than gradually her eyes are closing and now her body starts swaying with her worship tramce.. Oblivious of people around her she lifts her hand in worship and starts going round and round calling her Kanha' More Kanha More Kanha.. Gradually her melodious voice picks up the tempo.. People all around her stops singing and are looking at her' She sees herself going in circle around Kanha with lifted hands and closed eyes.. her mouth singing his praise and her heart lifted up in worship. She is in the presence of her Kanha' Radh and her Kanha.. Suddenly she feels his presence.. in her trance she looks at her Kanha but now Kanha has been replaced by Dev and she is now looking at him with beautiful slow smile. She feels like her dreams are coming true. She feels elated and excited.. She cries out softly and suddenly her trance is broken she abruptly stops her circular motion and opens her eyes. She fills dizzy saying Kanha I know he is just here. I have felt him' She frantically looks around saying where are you my beloved now make haste and come quickly to me.
The Rasleela puja is concluded but her beloved is not there yet. All starts leaving one by one. The family tells her let's go Radhika' She said no I will wait for him My Kanha told me he will come here so he will. She tells them please go ahead and she would like to wait for some more time. All start to leave and she climbs the stairs of the temple and sits near the pillar waiting for him. She looks at the Kanha idols with forlorn and hurt stare with tears flowing from her eyes. Kanha you promised me that you will give my husband back to me and I will not leave this mandir till you bring him back to me. Kanha I know I have faith on you that you will bring him back and I will wait right here.
Dev is restless in Delhi. He is at airport waiting for his return flight. His son was feeling better. He should feel better but he feels restless The payal in his pocket as if calling somebody' He takes it out and looks at it and keeps staring at it and says my heart is telling me that somebody is waiting for you. His flight is being delayed. He looks at his watch and says Kanha why do I feel that you want me to attend this radsleela? His plane is landing. He tells his men to go home and he will come by himself. He is driving' He keeps on thinking about the payal saying to himself why do I feel so restless. And this payal??? Whose payal is this? Why do I feel so much attached with this payal. He stops his jeep at the mandir.. and steps out' He looks up and does not see anybody. He says in his heart that he has missed Kanha's rasleela. He says Kanha you gave me the feeling for Rasleela than how did I miss it? He is climbing the stairs..Radh is no where to be seen.. She is standing in front of Kanha crying silent tears pleading for her husband saying Kanha I cannot bear this separation anymore please bring him back.. Dev is coming towards her. He is at the top steps and sees her crying her heart out. His heart as if feels the pull' he slowly approaches her and is almost behind her and Radh feels his presence she turns and sees him.. She cries out softly and flings herself at him holding him tightly at his waist.. crying and laughing at the same time.. saying I knew I knew My Kanha will keep his promise and he will bring you back to me.. He promised me that he will bring you back today.. Dev looks at this crying woman in his arms.. His dead heart as if feels alive after a long time.. He looks surprised.. Radhika feels as if she is floating in happiness but was about to faint but before she falls.. Dev picks her up and lays her down on Mandir floor. His mind is confused and he sits there near Radh looking at her unconscious form.. He looks at Kanha's idol and asking him Kanha why does my heart felt so alive with this woman? Why do I feel that this is the one I have been looking for all these years? Than he suddenly remembers the payal and takes it out and than his gaze falls on Radh's bare left foot and than on her right foot with the identical payal on her foot. He keeps on staring at her foot and a payal in his hand waiting for this lady to gain her consciousness'

:Abhay calls and talks to Deepak to see how he is feeling and Deepak is excited that he learned the "Kunj Bihari" aarti and is singing it for Abhay. He says his Radhika masi taught him to sing. Dev feels an unknown force, forcing him to return. He manages to finish his work and tries to rush home. There is a storm brewing. However on the outskirts of Agra, his car breaks down. He gets down to check on his car and realizes he needs to get water. He walks to the banks of the Yamuna River. In the eerie silence, he feels being pulled. He forgets everything and walks in a trance.
Meanwhile, Radhika is devastated at not seeing Dev at the Ras Leela. Full of tears, she walks aimlessly reaching the banks of the Yamuna River. Many thoughts are running through her mind; her faith, her will to live all are being questioned.
Abhay sees a lone figure sitting on the banks. He walks closer, heart beating faster. It was as if he was waiting for this moment. Radhika senses her Dev; slowly turns and her whole being is completely shaken. She could not believe her Dev is in front of her. Abhay is speechless. He touches the payal in his pocket. Suddenly, there is thunder and rain pours down on the two soul mates; it is as if the gods are crying witnessing their reunion.

:It is Radha Krishan Milan Utsav....Radh has been staying at Mataramji's for two days because of Deepaks health. Dev, after great difficulty has arrived from Delhi...Before going home, he goes to the Kanha mandir where the aarti will take place...In his mind, he talks to Kanha. He tells him about the unknown feeling that he is feeling in his heart that today will be a good day and something will happen that will change his life forever...He tell Kanha how he is having the feeling again that the payal who he has had for so long wants to go back to it's owner...He then takes out his phone from his pocket making Radh's payal fall out and land on the ground, Dev does not notice and leaves the mandir..Meanwhile, In Mataramji's house Radh is in Deepu's room, she is extremely happy and excited at the thought that today she is going to meet her Dev, she starts remembering her dream where she met Dev...suddenly her thoughts are interrupted by Kanika. She give Radh a saree and some jewellery, and says that since today is such a big utsav and you have done so much by looking after Deepu, I want you to wear these...Radh takes the clothes and goes into the bathroom to get changed and to take a shower...Just then Dev enters the house and goes into deepu's room, where he sees deepu and Kanika...He goes to Deepu, hugs him and says how are you? Deepu replies I'm fine now and its all becuase of Radhika mausi..Dev feels awkward after hearing "Radhika"...He asks kanika where Radh is but she says she is having a shower...Deepu wants to go to the mandir, so both go to the mandir...After Dev left, Radh comes out wearing a beautiful saree, her hair is wet and is alone in the room. She sits infront of the dressing table mirror, she then picks up the box of sindoor infront of her. Radh takes some sindoor and fills her parting, she instantly remembers the last time Dev filled her parting, even then she had just took a shower. A tear falls from her eye, bring her back to reality, she wipes her tears and with a hopeful heart says that soon they will be together once more....It is now night, Radh is in the mandir. Dev and Deepak are also in the mandir. Radh is getting restless as she can feel Dev presence but can't see him, they are very close, just about a metre apart but they miss each other by just a second. Radh is beginning to become uneasy, she goes to the murtis, She says to Kanha, why are you going this to me Kanha, for how long are you going you test me, for how long are your going to keep him away from me, Please unite us, please help me find him...and with that she leaves to find Dev.Dev looks in his pocket and realises that the payal is no longer with him, he starts to hesitate and begins to look for it. He finds it in a corner but before he could get it, Deepu finds it and starts running with the payal in his hand. Dev asks Deepu to give it back while simultaneously running after him...Meanwhile, Radh is getting teary eyes as she is not able to find Dev, she is worried. She is standing in a small area behind the mandir. In meantime, everyone is is gathered in the main area of the mandir, in front of the Kanha Idols. The aarti starts...Behind, after listening to the bhajan, Radh starts to forget all her worries and with the picture of her Kanha, her Dev in her mind, she starts twirling while listening to the aarti. The sweet Kanha singing, just seeming to encircle her, making her totally unaware from the world. All her mind is thinking about is Dev....At the same time, Deepu drops the payal a few metres away from Radh and then makes his way back to hear the aarti...Dev stops where Deepu dropped the payal. He picks it up but just when he was about to leave, He hears the faint sound of another payal. He traces the sound and sees a girl twirling around listening to the the Kanha bhajans. He feels weird and he begins to see an extremely faint image of a girl spinning around and a man holding a camera. He is brought back to reality by the strong winds, he looks at the girl again, he cannot see her face as the wind is making her pallu cover her face. He has a sudden urge to go forward and then automatically he goes just that. He is right beside Radh, there is only a few centimetre distance between them. Dev is staring at her, he does not want to move his eyes from the figure infront of him. The wind still blowing heavily, makes Radhs pallu move a little.
